Sorry I haven't been posting recently and it's been over a month or two, I was busy for the weeks and the heat is killing me (January/February). I don't mind Summer but it's just I hate sweating and I can't even relax probably without getting sweat. Stupid weather. Also I've changed the name Miyuki to Yukimi in the Cherrygrove Contest because Alolan Vulpix won't be evolving, I forgot about that.

The gang were still on the way towards Violet City, when they came to a hillside area that has snowy mountains nearby.

"A-choo!" Brock sneezed, "Brr, it's getting cold."

"Tell me about it." Takato shivered.

Mairin shivered and zipped up her jacket.

"Must be the snow on this mountain." Yuna said, as she kind borrowed (taken) Alain's jacket.

Alain looked up at the sky, "It's probably going to snow soon." He said.

Light sighs and than she spotted something or a Pokémon in the middle of the grassy area, "Pikachu Pi." She pointed.

Yuna looked up at her partner before following the line of her paw and her eyes lit up, "It's a Chikorita." She said.

Mairin sniff the air and she could smell the sweet scent coming from the leaf Pokémon, "Smells nice." She said.

"Yeah and if you don't mind, I'm catching it." Yuna chimed, she was really eager to capture a Johto Region Starter Pokémon.

Chikorita opened its eyes, blinking twice, "Chiko?" It spotted Yuna and saw her approaching, "Chiko!" It swung its leaf around, ready to fight.

"Woah, this Chikorita sure looks feisty." Brock commented.

"Chiko!" Chikorita said.

"Sentret, I choose you." Yuna sent out the scout Pokémon.

"Sentret." The scout Pokémon appeared.

"Chiko!" Chikorita immediately charged towards Sentret.

"A Tackle? Sentret, dodge it and than Iron Tail." Yuna said.

"Sentret." The scout Pokémon moved to the side and her tail glowed metallic colour, she slammed it into the leaf Pokémon.

"Chikkoooo!" Chikorita cried out in pain as it collapsed onto the ground, but it immediately got right up.

"Wow, it got right back up." Mairin said.

"Chiko!" Chikorita used Vine Whip.

"Substitute and Flamethrower." Yuna said.

"Sentret Sent!" The scout Pokémon used Substitute and the fake was attack, she reappeared behind the leaf Pokémon and launched a close range Flamethrower.

"Chikkoooooooo!" Chikorita cried out in pain as the Fire-type attacks hits it directly and collapsed on the ground with swirling eyes.

"Pokéball go." Yuna tossed the Pokéball at the unconscious Chikorita and it was catch without a struggle.

"Sentret!" Sentre used her tail as a spring, she bounced up and down, excitedly.

"That Chikorita sure is a feisty one." Brock said.

"We should head to the Pokémon Centre and get that Chikorita checked." Alain said, "And maybe we can ask Nurse Joy about that feisty Chikorita."

"Good idea." Yuna nodded.

As soon as they reached the Pokémon Centre, Yuna immediately gave Chikorita Pokéball to Nurse Joy and explained about the attitude of the feisty Chikorita.

"Oh that, that's not really surprising. All wild Chikorita around here are stubborn and they keep on battling opponents that bigger and stronger than they are." Nurse Joy explained and then sighs, "They continue to battle and battle, until they can't move anymore."

Takato and Brock both whistled impressed.

"That's some spirit." Mairin said.

Chikorita slept in the treatment room for hours to recover its strength, until at last the leaf Pokémon woke up.

Yuna had stayed by Chikorita's side the whole time and she was relieve that the leaf Pokémon had woken up, "How are you feeling?" She asked.

"Chiko?" When Chikorita saw Yuna, it remembered the human battling against itself and capturing it, "Chiko!" It dashed towards the indigo-black haired girl.

"Eh?" Yuna said.

Alain came into the room, "Yuna!" He pulled her out off the way.

"Chiko!?" Chikorita slammed into the wall of the room and immediately got up and ran out the door.

"Wait!" Yuna shouted out.

Chikorita was long gone.

Brock walked in who saw everything, "Well... That was surprising but at the same time not really..." He commented.

Yuna looked at the Pokémon Breeder, "What?" She said, removing herself from her boyfriend hold.

"Chikorita might be angry with you Yu, because you captured it and sometimes a wild Pokémon doesn't want to be caught." Brock explained the reason.

"Pika?" Light entered the room with a confused looked on her face.

Yuna frowned, slightly and looked towards the door.

Alain sighs as he ran a hand through his hair, "Right. Yu and I are going after that Chikorita." He said.

Yuna smiled, brightly at Alain, she picked up her partner and headed out the Pokémon Centre door.

"Good luck." Brock said, staying behind to watch the two younger kids.

Alain nodded and ran after his girlfriend.

Yuna, Alain and Light looked around for the leaf Pokémon, in the grass areas but not sight of it.

"Chikorita! Where are you?!" Yuna called out.

"Pikapi!" Light called out.

"This is getting us nowhere. Yara, I need your help." Yuna sent out her Tropical form Butterfree.

"Freee!!" Yara appeared.

"Yara, I need you to search from the sky to found Chikorita." Yuna ordered.

Yara nodded, "Free Free." She flew off.

The Tropical form Butterfree flew around different areas to found the leaf Pokémon, soon she looked around the snow mountains and saw Chikorita, apparently it was in the snowy mountains area for a while now.

Yara quickly flew back to Yuna, Alain and Light, she showed them where Chikorita was located.

When Yuna, Alain, Light and Yara found the Grass-type Johto Starter, it was shivering badly.

"Depending how long has it been in this area and being a Grass-type the cold weather is a really bad for it." Alain commented.

Yuna nodded and walked towards the shivering leaf Pokémon, "Found you Chikorita." She said.

"Chiko?" Chikorita was surprised to see the indigo-black hair girl, the one who captured her, "Chiko... Chikooo!" It jumped into the female arms.

"Pikapi?" Light blinked.

"We should head back to the Pokémon Centre now." Alain said.

And at that moment it started to snow and the sky was starting to become dark.

"Well now, we should find shelter instead and wait till tomorrow." Alain said.

"Pikapi!" Light spotted a cabin not far from where they are standing.

"Wow, lucky us." Yuna smiled. "Yara, return." She recalled back her Tropical form butterfly Pokémon, back to her Pokéball.

They headed towards the cabin and Alain opened the door.

Yuna looked around and saw the fire place, she immediately started the fire, to get the place warmed up.

Alain found some pillows and blankets in the corner of the cabin, he grabbed them and place them in front of the fire place.

Yuna smiled as Alain lays down, against all the pillows and she soon joined him, laying in front of him with Light and Chikorita in her arms.

Alain wrapped his arms around Yuna, making her lend against his chest, "Rest up." He said.

Yuna yawned, "Goodnight." She closed her eyes.

"Pika..." Light closed her eyes.

"Chiko? Chiko..." Chikorita followed after, it was beginning to like Yuna and it felt safe and happy.

Alain pulled the blanket around them all and he soon fell asleep himself.

The next day, when the sun was shinning and the snow stopped.

Alain, Yuna, Light and Chikorita all got out of the cabin and they tried to found the way back to the Pokémon Centre.

"Big brother!"

"Nee-chan!"

Two voices were heard.

Then Takato, Mairin, Brock and Nurse Joy turned up.

"Hiya!" Yuna replied back.

"Your okay." Brock smiled, glad to see his friends fine.

"Were all fine." Alain replied.

They all headed back to the Pokémon Centre.

When they arrived at the Pokémon Centre, it was time for the gang to continue on their journey.

Nurse Joy sighs in relief, "I'm glad that Chikorita has accepted you as its trainer Yuna." She smiled.

"Chiko Chiko." Chikorita was in Yuna's arm and was rubbing its head against her stomach.

"I'm glad too." Yuna smiled.

And so in the cold snowy mountains, Yuna and Chikorita has become some promises to be a warm friendship.
