Summary of previous chapters:

Javi, Charmeleon and Gardevoir; are finally reunited with Mewtwo, Ditto and Mawile. But this last group has just discovered that Gardevoir is unconscious...

Javi must tell them what happened to them, so they can find a way to help Garde.

Ditto: What happened? Don't tell me Gardevoir has the death virus! Gardevoir is strong, she's not going to die! Gardevoir, wake up! Don't do this to me! Don't leave me alone!

Ditto cries and a sob comes out...His eyes start to water.

Gardevoir wakes up and sees everyone crying. A tear of happiness runs down her face, as she tries to get up... but she collapses again due to her weak state.

Garde: Ditto! I... I love you all so much... Don't worry! I'm Gardevoir! Don't leave me alone... Please... please take care of me...

She remains sobbing. Everyone cries and hug each other.

Mewtwo: Don't worry, Gardevoir, we'll all take care of you...

Mewtwo cries

Mewtwo: Gardevoir, we love you very much, don't leave us. Please...

Javi: Guys... the Impostor... the Impostor Joy attacked Garde with her syringe!! And she was poisoned... Please tell me you have some way to cure her...

Charmeleon dances frantically for 9 seconds and 59 milliseconds.
Ditto puts himself in the center of everyone and starts dancing with the others, dancing in his different Pokemon forms.

Ditto: Ditto! :D

Mawile: That's beautiful, Ditto!

Mawile also dances and starts dancing to the rhythm like a Latin dance.
Mewtwo does Michael Jackson's Moon Walker and the others start shouting and applauding. Ditto imitates him too.

Mewtwo: I've been told I'm kind of a good dancer.

Gardevoir, seeing Mewtwo and Ditto's ability, tries to imitate them...
She succeeds, but her dress becomes unfit, causing a lot of Pokeballs to fall out.

Garde: Oh! Don't laugh! Not all of us can imitate Ditto.

She says it laughing. Everyone has fun for 9.59 seconds, until it's time to leave.

Javi: Wow, guys... Those are good moves!
And Mewtwo, I didn't know you were going to take the "Legendary" steps.
Shall I tell you something? Let's finish this mission... and to celebrate, let's have a party showing our forbidden steps, how about it?

Mawile: What a good idea! I'd love to! You're not going to leave me alone on the dance floor, are you?

Mawile runs away because she is so excited about the party. Ditto follows her.

He starts running like crazy.

After advancing through the last corridors of the Cruise, the Misfits team arrives at the entrance to the last room: "The Control Room". In which is the ninth and last Pokemon cage that they must rescue
When they are about to enter... a few seconds before, they hear a voice coming from the next room... It sounds like someone singing in a very sad and melancholic tone...

Mewtwo stops and asks everyone to listen to it. They all stop and listen to the voice, with a sadness they haven't felt in a long time.

Mewtwo: What's going on? Who is singing? Honestly speaking, I think it's not a good sign...

Gardevoir stops, her heart beating faster.

Garde: I don't know... What could it be about? What happened here? Whatever is happening, it must be something bad. I'm afraid...

She stares with a sad expression...

Garde: I think we have to go in...

Charmeleon: It looks like a lament... from a Pokemon...

You can hear the door open and the Misfits team prepares to enter the next room, where the wailing can be heard.

She looks at the cage, with a sad expression...

Garde: Who's that... Pokemon? I have never seen a Pokemon like that in my life...

She wonders if it's really a Pokemon...

Garde: Why is it here? Please...

She looks at everyone, crying, while trying to articulate words...

Garde: Please... does anyone know... what's in this cage?

The sadness that emanates from the voice seems to shock the Pokemon around it.

Javi: We have to free that Pokemon...Please, cover Mawile and me, in case Team Rocket recruits come...

Javi looks at Mawile.

She gets ready to bite the bars...

As Mawile uses her bites, the Pokemon in the cage stops its singing.

After Mawile finishes making a hole in the cage, Javi approaches and takes a better look at the Pokemon inside...

Is it... a Meloetta? (But her hair color is different...)
Wait... is it a Shiny Meloetta?

Meloetta gets scared when she sees Javi and hides behind the cage.

Charmeleon: Stop it, Javi! you're scaring her!

She tells him while her face cannot deny that, obviously, it gave her a lot of fun to see Javi naked.

Javi: Oh! This... I think it got out of hand, haha...

Javi picks up his normal clothes and gets dressed, ditching only the Team Rocket costume.

Javi: Well, man, I'm glad everyone had fun... I think... -_-

Javi sees Meloetta more relieved.

Javi: Nice to meet you, Meloetta! :)
I'm Javi... and they are: Mawile, Garde, Ditto, Charmeleon and Mewtwo.
We call ourselves "The Misfits". I'm so sorry for scaring you! The truth is, I was only disguised as a Team Rocket Recruit, so we could get on this Cruise...

Meloetta approaches Javi.

She laughs a little when she sees Javi's pants turned inside out.

Meloetta accepts and everyone forms a circle on the floor, sharing what is left in the backpack.

Javi: By the way, Melo... Did you know those Sprigatitos?

While they eat, Meloetta tells them about her travels and how she became friends with the Sprigatitos. She also tells them about the Sprigatito who became friends with a girl... and the story of the garment, which marked the reunion of both of them. Meloetta also tells them tells about how she ended up in that cage, while trying to protect the Sprigatitos from Team Rocket.

Charmeleon, in his tireless and enthusiastic way, is moved to hear Meloetta's story.

Charmeleon: (You're right, Javi. That Meloetta is very tired... she should eat!)

Charmeleon takes a few bites of the food that was left in the backpack and then helps himself to another portion, of which he also gives some to Mawile and they begin to distribute everything there is.

As they finished all the food, they also started chatting about how both groups faced different challenges. Where were the Imposter Joy and the Shadow Ditto, controlled by Doctor Seishi.
They also talked about Cristal, Javi's friend... and how they met again after she defeated a group of Team Rocket Recruits.
And they also talked about Sableye ...and how he helped them in the most necessary moment...

Everyone turns to look at Meloetta... and she stares at them with curiosity.

Meloetta walks around, looking at all the faces. Once all her friends had said something in the talk, she steps forward and speaks...

Meloetta: So long...

She takes another step and puts her hand on top of Javi's.

Meloetta: You are... my friends.

She becomes more serious.

Meloetta: I also want to go with you to save the Sprigatitos.
Yes... maybe...

She takes another step and grabs Javi's other hand.
They all hold each other tightly and lovingly.

Javi: Ok, you already know this! Cell phones and wallets!
Haha, I mean... On the count of 3, we all shout "Now it's the Misfits turn!"

Everyone: Now it's the Misfits turn!!

Gardevoir realizes, just at the most appropriate moment, that something bad is about to happen... and turns around to see what is happening...
Gardevoir notices that the Team Rocket Recruits are running towards them, intending to ambush them. She signals to the group to warn them of this.
She remains silent and crouches down, waiting for Team Rocket to get closer, so she can attack them by surprise.
Her expression is much more serious, since Team Rocket are very bad people... and she doesn't want something bad to happen to her friends.

Meloetta notices that a conflict is coming... and her expression becomes very serious.
She stops suddenly and puts herself on guard, ready for anything.
Her face of fear transforms into determination. She barely moves her hands in the shape of a cross, ready to defend her friends.

Meloetta: They are about to attack us... Get ready...

They all look at each other, as they continue to form a circle... with their backs to the Recruits. They realize that they are being surrounded... and are seconds away from being caught.

Javi: Well... it's time to take action, don't you think?...
Hey... Charmeleon... I think you already know what to do ;)

Charmeleon smiles and throws a Smokescreen, which begins to envelop the group...
It's very effective! Team Rocket Recruits have no visibility at all. They can't see what they're doing, or who they're attacking.
On the Smokescreen, the Misfits are ready to counterattack...

Javi: Now! Charmeleon, launch a Fireball towards the Smokescreen!

Charmeleon shoots a Fireball, which causes the Smokescreen to start burning... and explode, impacting the Recruits, leaving them blind for a moment...

Javi: Science is on sabbatical, honey...

Javi: Mewtwo and Melo, attack from the right!
Garde and Ditto, from the left!
Mawile and Charmeleon, let's go from the front!

They all attack the Recruits around them.
Mewtwo and Meloetta run off to the side... and the others do the same.
They start attacking with everything they can.

One of the Team Rocket Recruits, being on the verge of blindness, accidentally hits one of his teammates. That blow accidentally knocks him to the ground, causing the other Recruits to get confused and run away in disarray...

Mewtwo: This is the time to attack, guys! Let's give them the worst day of their life! >:D

Meloetta lunges at the one who is running away. She sticks close to him, almost touching his heels, before jumping up and biting his butt. The Recruit screams in pain, but keeps running... although he can't see almost anything because of the smoke in his eyes.

Meloetta: We have to get there faster than them! We can't give them the chance to regroup!

Meloetta kicks the Recruits... and sends them flying into the air, before jumping back up and biting the others' asses.

Ditto: Heh... did she bite them in the butt? That girl is gonna do me proud...

Gardevoir runs out and stands at the door, right in the middle of the exit path.

Garde: Not one of you is going to escape here, friends!
If you want to get out of here...

She laughs and her sadistic side begins to come out.

Garde: You're going to have to get over us!

From the way Gardevoir is planted there, you can tell that she won't let anyone pass. Nobody can get out of there.

Garde: Bad for you, but good for us!

Please don't run away... or I won't be able to have fun...

Meloetta smiles as she sees Gardevoir torturing the Recruits.

Meloetta: I like this Gardevoir...

She laughs at the expressions on the Recruits' faces, as Gardevoir mercilessly beats them with the whip of "intense non-consensual sessions."

On the other side, Charmeleon tackles a Recruit with all his might, who drops his weapon
Javi grabs it and fires an electrified web at a couple of Recruits who were approaching.

Javi: This one's for you, Charmeleon!! >:D

At that moment, Ditto sees a Recruit in the distance who is pointing his gun at Javi.
Ditto transforms into a Lucario and hits her with a tremendous blow that crashes her against the wall.

Mawile lets out a roar that echoes off the walls, before jumping up and attacking the Team Rocket Recruits. The Recruits, seeing Mawile biting them all, fear the creature and run away.

Recruits: Be careful, this thing doesn't stop!

While Charmeleon and Javi are kicking one of the Recruits, Mewtwo sees them in the distance... and joins in the beating.

After a few minutes, the Recruits are left defeated and in pain on the ground. Then, Mewtwo approaches them with a very serious face...

Mewtwo: You were told... not to mess with us...

Mewtwo uses his Psychic power to take the Pokeballs from all the Recruits and locks them in the room.

Mewtwo: Keep being evil... and next time we won't be so gentle...

Meloetta smiles again.

Meloetta: Good!!

Excited, she tells them...

Meloetta: Wow, I can't believe how well everything worked out. Pokemon and humans working together... and defeating the bad guys!

Meloetta is happy with what they did. And she felt good to have her friends by her side.

Meloetta: What a great job!

She starts singing a little for her friends...

All the Misfits feel that their strength is at full again, thanks to Meloetta's song.

Javi: Wow... Melo... your singing is very special, did you know that?

Mawile uses her fierce teeth to pick up several electrified nets and throws them at the Recruits' heads.

Mawile: That's in case you're thinking of escaping!

Mewtwo frees the Pokémon from the Recruits. He destroys their Pokeballs and asks them to guard the Recruits, until they free the entire Cruise.
All the Misfits gain like 24,000 experience points after the battle!

Javi: Well, the time has come... Are you all ready? It's time to go to the Control Room!! 😎 👊

Meloetta, with a very happy laugh on her face, does a little dance and encourages them.

Meloetta: I like how they you my singing!
And yes, I'm ready to go to the Control Room... and free the Sprigatitos!

Gardevoir is very excited to see how happy Meloetta seems.

Garde: That face is the only one worth seeing. She is extremely cute.
Good job, Meloetta! Now, let's beat that evil Team!

She becomes serious again, as they prepare to go to the Control Room.

After leaving the room where they were, they advance until they reach the entrance door of the Control Room. The group stays there for a moment, before entering.
They begin to hold hands, while everyone looks at the door, without saying a word...
And although everything around them is an overwhelming silence, they can feel the bond of friendship that has kept them together since they met.
They begin to see each other... and a smile forms on their faces...

Javi: This... This is the end...
Thank you... thank you for accompanying me during this... this very peculiar adventure...

They clench their hands tightly before letting go...

After a few seconds, they all open the door... and at the other end of the room, they can see the cage with the 10 Sprigatitos... and a member of Team Rocket holding the helm of the ship... Apparently, it is the Captain of the Cruise...

Meloetta, with a strong and determined step, heads towards them, stopping right in front of the Captain.
She stands with her two hands at her sides... and with the best expression on her face, she speaks to the group.

Meloetta: We already got involved... now there is no turning back.

She becomes serious, but a strong seriousness, which can be seen in her eyes.

Meloetta: Let's go.

In the cage, the 10 Sprigatitos stand up when they see Meloetta.
The Captain of the Cruise becomes more serious... he stares at Meloetta, without saying a word.
Suddenly, he raises a finger and the Sprigatitos remain immobilized of fear, without saying a word.
The Captain wiggles his nose and smiles when he sees Meloetta, who looks at him with seriousness on her face.
For a moment, both of them stare at each other...

Captain: But... may I know what my trophy is doing here?!?
I thought you were in your cage, like a good girl!...

Meloetta recognizes the Captain's voice...It is the voice of the one who captured her when she tried to save the Sprigatitos the day they were attacked.

Captain: Look at you! A Pokemon with such a unique appearance!...
If you become my Pokemon, I'll be the envy of everyone! What do you say you go back to your cage once and for all? If you do, maybe I'll forgive you for running away...

Meloetta's expression is very serious... and hatred is evident in her eyes.

Meloetta: I am not your Pokemon, I am not your trophy. I decide my future and I am going to rescue the Sprigatitos, because they are my friends.

A shine lights up in her eyes and the most rebellious side comes out.

Meloetta: Get off this Cruise... and don't mess with those Sprigatitos... or you'll regret it...

The Captain turns to the rest of the group... and sees Mewtwo and Ditto...

The Captain calls all his Recruits by radio, but no one answers... and he begins to feel a cold sweat on his neck...

Meloetta: ...give the coup de grace to this Coquettish Creep... and give it all at once.

She smiles a malicious and mischievous smile.

Javi: Haha, "Coquettish Creep" sounds good...We should call him "Captain Coquettish Creep"...
