My sister's graduation was last week. I came down for the weekend so I could attend. I brought my camera with me, since I've been taking pictures at all of my siblings' graduations (8th grade, HS, college...)

This year for some reason we were in the "VIP" spots (all the way in the front). In years past we'd have to sit along the sides like the rest of the families. That would be a great opportunity to get some good pictures!

So the students were filing in at the beginning of the ceremony and my mom (seated closer to the middle aisle) moved over so I (further away from the middle aisle) could get closer and get a picture of my sister. I went to turn on my camera and it wouldn't turn on. I tried and tried again, I pulled out the batteries and put them back in, but no dice.

Granted, I got this camera as my 8th grade graduation gift. It's a Nikon Coolpix B500, and it's purple. This thing is nearly as old as my Wattpad account. I've noticed recently that it's been acting up on me like this, where the camera just shuts off for no reason or refuses to turn on. This kept happening when I was trying to get pictures of one of my class projects. The only solution I've found that works is replacing the batteries, but I didn't have any on me.

Of ALL the times for my camera to act up, why now? I'm glad I happened to get a few before the ceremony started, but I'm still upset that this happened. I got 4 pictures in total. That's it.
