The darkness is consuming
All my thoughts and fears
It takes away the feelings
It covers up the screaming
All Until you disappear
It lights the path to death
It steals the unwanted breath
All changing the way you think
A laugh can never be heard
A lie can never be told
And live can never be found
We live in this darkness
Until we see a light
But by then we are bound
To the things we've known
And the things we've seen
Our life has chosen a certain path
We eventually take to have our last
But things will change and bring us back
To the way we were deep in the black
