The Battle of the Elements
Water: I am the creator of life
Fire: I am the destroyer
Water I can destroy with my
Tsunamis and flooding
Fire: I can destroy with Forest fires
And destroy more then wood
Water: When I am gone,
Disaster reigns with
Droughts and lack of food
Fire: When disaster reigns
I am there to encourage it
To feed the flames
Until there is nothing left but black snow
Water: They say it was the Phoenix that is born from the ashes,
but it is I who give life to the lifeless
Fire: A crave that one cannot satisfy,
Not with wood
Not with paper
But with flesh.
Water: When water meets fire, the fire it is quenched
Its spark snuffed.
There is nothing left except for it to burn out.
Fire: And burn.
And burn.
And light.
And flame.
Are one
And burn.
Till' the leaves
Are like gold
Among embers
Water: Earth can be moved by fire and wind and water.
But nothing can strike down water
Nothing can beat it
Fire: My flames lick the surroundings
Though your surface impenetrable
Though you may smother
Though ash cannot cover
I burn bright
And hot
Water: Those who burn bright go down in flames
