imagine #5: Missing
It was already dark, the way that the clouds crept in to the sky was so uncanny, the way that you walk is making you feel like you're just a lost soul, searching for someone to make you feel alive.
It wasn't bad as you thought of. No one can see you stealing their foods or even no one can hear you singing through the blind dust.
The wind became moist, of course the people knew that a big storm is about to come. The way that the wind blew is really strange, made you just stay in your old dark house.
The house was all burnt down. You were in it while the fire was slowly eating the whole house. You never noticed someone making short circuit in your house, whether it's a plan or not. You're inside it, dying.
The small drops of rain suddenly pour, the whole busy street became so slow. The rain felt so unhappy, with a sudden strength that made all the people stranded outside.
You're kind of lucky that your house didn't fell down as they took your body away from the place where your soul can't go out, -- can't be freed from the trap, can't feel freedom to do anything now.
The storm jolted down the city, the cars stopped working and the boys, who was in a unfamiliar place starts to get off the van and take a place where to hide.
"Hey Patrick, I see a house there, maybe we can pass a night here?" Pete asked as he pointed your house. Patrick twisted his umbrella, causing the raindrops scatter at Pete's clothes.
Pete glared at him and he looked at the house. It was sure dark but it never feels so creepy.
"Come on guys, we can't just make it through Chicago now! I know the storm was going to be strong so we better find somewhere to hide first before the storm flew us away." Andy repeated Pete's explanation.
Joe and Patrick now shares an umbrella because the tour was supposed to be the whole summer and not to make anything with this black umbrellas.
"Patrick, you're acting like a kid!" Joe hissed, Patrick grinned. He started to stomp his feet on the wet land, Pete glared at Patrick as he was now wet on his pants because of Patrick.
"Okay, let's get in there. The mud is so icky." Patrick finally said yes, but still he was playing with the umbrella just to piss Joe.
"Patrick! What's happening to you?" Joe asked as Patrick started to turn the umbrella again as they walk in the gate.
"Nothing. It feels weird because this time, I don't know what I'm doing!" Patrick said, his eyes was serious but he can't stop playing with the umbrella.
"Stop with the excuses Stump, you're not doing good." Andy said in an annoyed tone.
"Its really odd, I can't stop myself acting like a kid." Patrick mumbled to himself but Joe heard it.
"Why?" Joe can't stop asking himself everyone looked at him, except for Patrick. Patrick tried to stop himself turning the umbrella, but the strong aura makes him do it more.
While you were running through the dark hallway, you looked at the window as you saw four people standing in the rain, their faces was hidden under the umbrella.
"Visitors?" You cheered and then you ran to open the door, which shocked the guys.
You shrinked your eyes just to focus your eyesight in to a man who was wearing a fedora.
"Gosh? Is it him?" Your senses snapped, nostalgias hit you like a strong wind.
Your best friend was standing in the rain, waiting for you to come with him to play in the rain. Your face was beamed with a shining shimmering smile, the way that you react with happiness can't control yourself.
He has an umbrella, waiting for you to come out and share it with you. As he was waiting, his feet was dabbling in the puddle.
"Hey Y/N! What took you so long?" Patrick asked as he stopped playing in the puddle, his shirt was actually soaking with the dirty water.
"Actually, I just sneaked out from the house since dad and mom was terribly fighting again." You pouted as you stare in disgust, you saw his shirt. "Its yucky Pat!" You teased, his eyebrows narrowed as he was cringing at the name.
"Don't call me Pat! My mom goes by it!" Patrick shouted, making you smile.
"Sure Pat." You ran in to the small house, soaking yourself in the rain.
"Ugh you (weird nickname)!" Patrick chuckled as he was running in the rain too.
"Whatever!" You two played in the rain.
Patrick suddenly froze as he saw a silhouette of you in the dark house, seeing you as a kid and not as a grown up.
You remembered that Patrick, he left you when he turned 12 because of his family had a house in Chicago. His family started to move away, and you died in loneliness in your house at the age of 16.
You and Patrick was really best friends. You two can't be apart at all. You only would be apart when Patrick needs to go home or your father would lock you in your room.
"Patrick, you stopped playing with your Umbrella," Joe amazingly hissed, Andy laughed.
"Can't you state it more obvious Trohman?" Andy sassed, Joe just rolled his eyes.
Patrick remained in silent, feeling guilty for leaving you. He finally remembered your house, the way you both used to make the lonely place to be happy,-- everything.
"Should we now go in?" Pete inquired to his whole bandmates, but Patrick just looked at them in shock, terrified enough to get inside.
"Patrick, don't tell me you're afraid of ghosts?" Joe asked him, but Patrick took it in different way.
Patrick nod his head, all of them burst into laughter. Patrick glared but then suddenly pout, he's feeling guilty.
"What happened to you Patrick?" Joe finally asked him as he looked at the little guy's direction.
"Nothing." He said.
"Patrick..." You whispered his name. Even though that he's a Meter away from you, Patrick could still hear it.
