Intriguing Factor: 15/15

At the end of Chapter 5, I thought he was a huge asshat. At the end of Chapter 13, I reevaluated my thoughts. He is an exceedingly smart college student. They tend to be asshats naturally. The change in his personality was definitely intriguing.

Character Personality: 15/15

Reading the two chapters, I would go with pompous (along with asshat). He is interesting and unique. Well done.

Hook: 10/10

The characters grow and develop as the story moves forward. I am definitely curious to see how he turns out by the end of the story.

Parallel: 7/10

Do I understand and connect with this character? Understand–yes. Connect–no. However, I think he is still developing. I'm sure the reader will by the end of the story.

Chapter 2 was hilarious. It featured a con man who ordered cows' brains (unknowingly) and blamed his friend who let him do it just to see the look on his face. You could feel their friendship while in the bathroom and more outside of the restaurant. He's funny and carefree, but at the same time, with only two chapters read, it's hard to develop a personality.

I easily connected to Jungkook and Tae. I felt his sweat when facing Degas and the fun-loving camaraderie between the two boys.

Prince Chevalier is definitely intriguing. I don't think there is another word for him.

He is cold and calculating to all around him, but do NOT touch what he believes as his. Make no mistake, he will hurt you.

It's obvious he care for Ivetta, but it's unclear if he will do anything about it. That's kind of a hook...

Parallel: 7/10

Do I feel connected and understand him? I feel connected. Most people will defend those around them from predators. Understanding is a bit harder to come to.

His personality is very different from chapter 10, where he eats his captive, to chapter 53, where he talks with Indumala. I can only assume he had much growth throughout the story.

I was definitely curious as to how this change occurred!

The connection and understanding in this rubric wasn't really visible in these chapters. Without reading the entire story (I'm sorry but I don't have time at the moment!), it's a little hard to connect with this character.

At first, I believed it was in his mind or part of his illness; however, by the end of Ch 26, I think it is something dreadfully real.

This was hard to do in two chapters. I could not get a full read on Zane.

Hook: 10/10

Trying to figure out what is real and what isn't is an excellent hook. Well done!

Parallel: 4/10

Again, this is hard to do in two chapters. I could not really connect with him or understand his reasoning.
