I looked at her to see Xenia trying to get up but she just fell down groaning, I shook my head. "I keep telling..." I was about to tell her but she just gave me a glare.
"I know. I just hate laying still." I smiled down at her as she just sighed. She narrowed her eyes and just sighed, "I can't wait to get out."
The day went by like a blur. Armando came back to pick up Star that was asleep, but it was hard because Xenia held tightly on her. When she did wake up she looked around and went back to sleep, so it's around midnight and I'm in my wolf form curled up near the wall fountain listening to the water fall against the glued rocks. I whined as I put my head on my paw, I was just sleeping. I heard a noise coming in; I perked up to see the nurse coming in with a stretcher. I warned her with a growl, she looked at my direction telling me to come with her hands. So I did, she pulled out some clothes from a bag that I didn't notice from her back. It was hospital clothes but then I looked back at my own clothes that were neatly folded, she just smiled looking at me. "I'll take care of then, Xenia just called me while you were sleeping so please don't worry." She told me with a smile.
I adverted my eyes as I shifted back, looking down in shame in nude. The thing about werewolves we don't care about our bodies when we shift back, it almost the wolf side still lingers back in our mind. She just smiled looking down at me with a kind smile as she dressed me, I put on some blue hospital pants. I looked at Xenia as she softly sleeps. "What's with the stretcher?" I asked her looking at her blue deep eyes.
She shook her looking at me with a smile, "For you." She just smiled as I got up feeling more comfortable than laying on the floor.
"Xenia called you to get this for me?" I asked her looking up at her in almost a whisper, she just nods as she tucked me in making me yawn.
"Yes dear. Please go to sleep." I curled up in a ball looking at Xenia sleeping on her back. She looked peaceful. I slept till the morning.
When I woke up the next morning I heard Xenia move guessing she knew I was awake. I opened my eyes to see Xenia looking out the sun that has been risen from beyond the mountains, I smiled looking at the Alpha of this land. "Morning." She spoke in a raspy and tired voice. I got up in a sitting position and I noticed that Xenia was healing rather well, some of bandages now showed scars and just Band-Aids. She looked at me with a small smile. "It's almost Thanksgiving. Do you want anything to eat or do you want to wait for the festival?" She asked me with a tilt of her head.
I pouted my lips looking at the window, I yawned feeling rather tired. "I don't know are you going to make something?" I asked her.
She shrugs her shoulders. She got up, she was healing better. She can get up now, without falling. Werewolves would have been healed by now but sadly she can't shift. She yawned as she looked around to see nothing but her and I. She looked at me with a smile knowing I was there. Her eyes says everything. I smiled looking down thinking that it's alright to have the Alpha admire someone below the ranks. I sighed, these feeling are very confusing I don't even know what my mind thinks about all of these. I sighed as I leaned back onto the stretcher looking out the window.
"Tally?" Xenia answered looking at me with her eyes narrowed at me like almost she was annoyed. I felt my body tense as I watched her look at me. "You haven't answered me, what do you want to do for dinner or do you want to skip it?" She asked me. I shrug my shoulders looking down at the white blankets.
"What do you usually have?" I asked her looking at her black eyes that seem to be telling a story of another than the actions.
She just sighed looking at me uncertainly, "Well we usually take turns each year but this year is rather special!" She told me with her eyes wide open, she seems ecstatic about this year.
I looked at her with a questioning expression, "And that is?" I asked her with a smile.
She leaned closer to me having her eyes on my own, "Your hear so we give the honor to you and your mother to decide what's for dinner!" She told me like a child as she retreated to her own bed. I was still looking at her in shock. "I can't wait to have what you have for dinner! Zee always makes the crappiest food you can ever imagine! You know what he makes?" She looked at me rather annoyed but before I could speak she continued, "Cup of noodles." She pouted. I started to laugh, really loud. "What it's not funny! I at least make something decent for once!" She told me.
"You mean every other year you had a cup of noodles?" I laughed covering my mouth with my hand trying to control it.
She folded her arms, wincing a little. "Yes, it's rather frustrating!" She told me. I started to laugh knowing this is too hilarious. She looked at me with a large smile, then she relaxed looking at the forest that seems to go on for miles. I slowly stopped wiping off some tears, "it's nice to hear you laugh." I froze looking at her but she didn't look back but instead she seems to sit down and just smile almost enjoying this memory like it would be the last. "When I get out to do you want to do something fun?" She asked me.
"Like?" I asked her as she made this smile that screams dangerously fun.
I gulped as I noticed she was about to speak, "Zee has an admirer and guess what she left him a note." She winked at me. Oh no, you devil Xenia. She just seems to smile at the thought, "It would be tomorrow at noon in the forest of the Rocks." She told me.
"Forest of Rocks?" I asked her.
She nods her head, "We call it that because they were many people that will meet up and you know." She used her fingers for the sign of intercourse. I looked at her in disgust. "I know it's rather disgusting but it could also a place of suicide and confessions." She explained looking at me with a smirk. "I heard that there was a girl who mated her mate there but the next day she found him cheated on the pack whore, so she went to the Forest of Rocks and hanged herself." She told me that I shivered in fear.
"Why would people go there? That doesn't make any sense at all!" I told her shaking my head in shame, my people are the weirdest people.
(This whole Paragraph doesn't make sense Bare it for now)
She just shrugs her shoulders. "I don't know but what I also heard if you mate there but don't come back the next day you'll have good luck, but if one of them goes there, angry and sad, since that's where yea know did that thing. The person would be consuming with rage killing themselves and the partner feeling depressed making them kill themselves." She told me as I was withdrawn in the story. Then after a moment after I'm calmed down, she raised her hands up and yelled out "Boo!" I screamed as she started to laugh at my embracement. I started to breathe easily as she just continued laughing, loudly. She said something in Russian then her accent came out. "Now that's hilarious!" She yelled almost too loud. I gave her a look of disappointment. As she calmed down her laughable fit she looked at me wiping invisible tears. Her English accent came out once more, "Are you down though?" She asked me.
I nod my head as she just clasps her hands but before she said anything I spoke up, "Don't do anything stupid. Please, maybe this is his mate." I told her, but she looked at me a frown, "What?"
"He's a bachelor," She said sadly, "meaning he hasn't found his mate yet." She explained. I just looked away, "Yeah, poor Zee. He's waiting for his mate." She explained to me with a smile. I just looked at her shaking my head.
"He'll find his mate soon, and me too!" I told her with a smile.
She looked down, "I want to meet him. If you ever find your mate let me know." She looked at me with a smile. "Both of you, I want to meet them. So I can congratulate them on finding their world." She told me.
I looked at her, "I want the same for you, I have an idea." She looked at her with a large smile. "At the Thanksgiving festival, you can mingle!" I looked at her with a bright smile.
"I can't, that seems weird." She laughed rubbing the back of her neck.
I gave her a little nudge, "Come one, maybe you can find you second chance mate in the crowd." I encourage her with a large smile.
She sighed, "It's not going to work." Her eyes told the truth. I gave her an encouraging smile, she just looked at me shocked looking away with her eyes quickly, and she sighed "I will do it for you but remember everyone hates me." She looked down sadly.
I smiled, "Hey, it's going to be fun!" I told her, but then she looked at me and smirked.
"How about you? Will you be okay since there is going to be half naked men and naked woman around, probably both sexes kissing each other?" She leaned closer to me, grabbing me by the chin leaning closer to my ear and whispering these words, "Or do you feel comfortable around all those people now." She told me like she spoke to me when we first met.
I looked down; I didn't want to look back at her. Her words spoke the truth. "I feel comfortable around you."
She just gave a smirk as she leaned back into her bed. "Oh really, how about the others?" She asked not looking at me. I just sunk into my chair as I looked at her, she wasn't joking. Her eyes tell the story, she just glances towards my direction.
"I don't know how I feel. They still hate me." I whispered the last part, but I knew she heard as she smiled.
"They do and what about it? I don't hate you, Zee doesn't. So tell me why do you think they hate you?" She asked me, she wants me to answer. She wants me to feel guilty, she wants me to feel the dark place that I wish I wasn't at anymore.
"Because of who I am," I told her.
She just nods as she looks away with her dark eyes. "They have a reason to hate you, but the same time you can fix it. I cannot fix this for you, they do not like me but it doesn't give me the right to dislike them back." She told me, I just listened as she just talks. Talking about how this pack can be forgiving like everyone else.
It was late at night and finally, Xenia was out, walking back to the house, Zee forgot to pick us up. She just walked on. She just groaned on our way over there but it didn't stop her.
