Age: 105 (the appearance of a 14 year old)   Is he an immortal, or do people usually live this long in his world? Either way, nothing wrong with this if there's a reasonable explanation for it.

Gender: Male

Appearance: jet black skin with glowing white freckles (occasionally purple, teal and light blue shades on the face or hands), jet black hair with white speckles at the ends, completely white eyes   Reminds me a little bit of the Void characters.

Personality: Playful and curious   You could add a lot more here. Think of Nihan's strengths, weaknesses, backstory, and how all of those affect who he is as a person.

Strengths: his agility, his powers (though he doesn't know how to use them), feeling of being safe or cared for This isn't so much a strength as something that he may like., gemstones (helps enhance his powers) This is interesting.

Weaknesses: Too much exposure to light This seems like more of a dislike until you explain why it's a weakness., control of his emotions Do you mean lack of control? Because the way you've written this you make it seem like he has control over his emotions and that's a weakness, which it shouldn't be., his curiosity You could argue this as a strength too. All up to you.

Likes: flowers, shiny things (he finds them fascinating), gemstones and runes

Dislikes: blood, destruction, seeing people be sad, using his powers Why does he dislike using his powers?

Fears: letting his powers go out of control, becoming a puppet for his mother, hurting anyone of accident, being abandoned by those he loves Reasonable fears. They line up with some of his dislikes.

Relationships: He doesn't really know what love is, he mostly just thinks of everyone as a friend. Could you go more in depth about his relationships with each character in your world? This section isn't necessarily for romance (although it can be if a character does have a significant other), but for you to tell me how this character interacts with the other characters and people in your world.

Backstory: Nihan comes from a long line of creatures that were known to make leaders on Earth, a world of kingdoms filled with people who possess mystical powers, go insane Why do they do this?. The first case started in what we know as the Victorian age, the queen of the Florian kingdom got this urge to overthrow her neighbours. The more the queen resisted the urge the stronger the explosion was once she cracked. This was the doing of Nihan's great great grandmother, with her ability to poison the minds of people and make them think everyone's out to get them. With them having a long life span and the key to taking back what used to be their world, they kept coming at every chance What used to be their world, what is the key, why do they want their world back, and how does the key work?. The pattern was every 200 years, this went on for 800 years until it suddenly changed. Nihan's mother, Drasilla, found a way to get there early. She planned to go on her own, but Nihan followed her in as the portal was closing Why would he follow her into the portal?. Nihan lost his mother immediately How did this happen?, leaving him to fend for himself. He roams the world in the story, helping the main characters along the way.

For the most part, Nihan is a good character. The biggest things you can work on are his personality and his relationships with the other characters in your world. You should try to explain his likes and dislikes in more depth and tie them in with his personality. Use them and the backstory to enhance Nihan's personality. Establishing his relationships with his other main characters and where he stands with them is also important, and I would've loved to know more about how he interacts with his mother. Unfortunately, because the relationships section was brushed over and pretty much excluded, I don't have any idea how Nihan interacts with others, and that's going to bring his score down.
