I donned my normal flower print top and shorts once more. I put my (h/c) hair in pigtails again and left my hat off. 1pm... He'll be here soon. There was a knock at the door. "D-don't get that m-mum! I will. I'm going out. Love you! Bye," I stuttered. I rushed out of my bedroom and left the house. I slammed the door shut and panted. "Exhausted already?" Gladion teased. He was wearing his regular black clothes. "Sh! Go go go! Move it soldier. I do not want my mum to kill me via embarrassment much like Lusamine did," I hissed. Gladion's eyes widened, remembering the atrocious encounter.

"Lillie only told me we have dinner in the evening. Whatever we do before that is up to you," the blonde told me. Lusamine did give me a list of activities to do... but I'm not really feeling the battle tree. I'll do the cinema and beach, however. I'm all for chill time. "Let's go watch something at the cinema. You can pick the movie," I suggested. He nodded in response. All I can say is I regret letting pick a movie. He picked a horror movie. I was screaming the entire time, clinging on to his arm. I was prepared to use him as a human meat shield if anything came out of the screen. Every time I clung tighter, he would tell me to calm down and say it was alright.

Finally, the torturous movie ended. I exhaled a large sigh of relief when we exited the cinema. Gladion intertwined my hand was his. Friend? Buddy? Rival? This does not compute. Ceasing all functions from the champion robot. Crash report: GLADION IS CONFUSING. The blonde lead me to the beach. The sun was setting already, due to it being winter and 4pm. The light reflected beautifully off the ocean. "Isn't it beautiful?" Gladion muttered under his breath. I nodded in agreement. "It really is something," I agreed. I let out Blastoise. He knew I was going to blast him into the water again, so he let Silvally out.

"Blastoise! Use hyrdo pump on Gladion!" I commanded. "Silvally, you know what to do." The blonde called as he was blasted into the ocean. Silvally charged towards me and flipped my onto it's back. It rushed into the ocean. Cheap tricks! The pokemon dived in with a huge splash. When I resurfaced, I spit out the water that was in my mouth. "Cheap move," I complained. "And blasting me into the water isn't?" He rebutted. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Revenge!" I yelled. I started splashing the water at him. "Hey! Cut it out," he laughed. Is moody actually enjoying himself?

Eventually, he started splashing back. "I shall conquer the champion at water activities," Gladion proclaimed. We both laughed at the ridiculousness of that statement. "Yeah, yeah you win. I brought spare clothes - had a feeling this might happen. We have ten minutes till 5pm, so let's get dressed." I suggested. He nodded in agreement and I handed him a spare set of clothes. "You know, I often forget you have piercings. It surprises me every time I remember," I stated while we walked to the restaurant. It feels so good to be in nice, dry clothes. "I often forget you're my strongest rival," he said in response. You like calling me your strongest rival, don't you.

"This was really fun. I'm glad they set this up for us," I told Gladion. The waiters had just cleared away our meals. He nodded in agreement. "Hey, (y/n), I've been meaning to give you something..." he murmured. He gives me a small box wrapped in (f/c) wrapping paper. I shook the box next to my head, trying to decipher what it is. Something metallic. I opened the box and took out the contents. It was a silver bracket with a sun and moon on it. I put it on immediately. "This is so cool! Thank you so much!" I thanked Gladion while filled with ecstasy.

The boy was started to go red and he averted his gaze. "Something wrong?" I asked. He looked back at me and took a deep breath in.  "I need to tell you something..." Gladion paused. "I... l-love you." He looked away immediately. I cupped both of his hands in mine. I gave him a large smile. "Hey, you're g-going to give me the w-wrong idea. It's c-clear you don't l-love me back," he stuttered. He's so cute when he's shy. I removed my hands from his and cupped his face instead. I looked into his green eyes, which were filled with shock. I leaned in and kissed him. "Gladion... I've liked you for a really long time now... I love you."
