(Gladion's point of view )

I really do care for you... after all... you're my strongest rival. I looked at (y/n) and she appeared to be lost in thought. She proceeded to mumble, "It sits well that you really do consider me a friend... A sun and moon...They exist in harmony. Perfect equilibrium... Thank you Gladion... for always being there for me..." That's what she's thinking about, huh? Sometimes it's nice to get some insight with what you're thinking. It makes me feel calm knowing you're alright. I know very well that you can handle yourself just find, but I like knowing how you're feeling. It's not nice when sadness clouds someone as cheery as you.

We arrived at the ground floor and walked into the house. "The last time I came here was forever ago," (y/n) commented. I nodded and leaded her to the dining area. "Mother. Lillie," I said upon entering the room. Lillie ran up to (y/n) and gave her a big hug. "I missed you so much!" She squealed. "Pretty sure I missed you more!" The (h/c) replied. "It's a pleasure to see you, too, Lusamine." I sat down next to my mother, (y/n) sat opposite me and next to her was Lillie. Mother looked at the champion and then whispered, "Did my son get lucky while we were gone?" I nearly spat my food out. I felt myself blush. I quickly shook my head.

Lillie and mother looked at each other and then looked at us. "We saw you on the elevator via cameras," Lillie teased. (Y/n) started going red aswell. "You what?" Me and the champion yelled in unison. "We saw you on the cameras," mother repeated. I was shaking in anger and (y/n)'s jaw was unhinged. "You've got it all wrong! We're just friends! Rivals!" The girl proclaimed. The two platinum blonde women just sat their giggling with each other. They whispered something to each other which I couldn't hear, I think (y/n) heard. After their whispers, she put her head on the table. She appeared to be in shock by what came out of their mouths and filled to the brim with embarrassment.

"Enjoy your dinner, (y/n). You're a guest. We can save this conversation for another time. It will probably be focused on Gladion's end, anyway. Don't worry too much," Mother chuckled. "Come on. It's been three years! Be lively, (y/n)! We're also going to battle after this! I want to show you how strong I've gotten from back then," Lillie chimed in. That will be an interesting display, considering I haven't battled Lillie yet. I highly doubt she will be able to defeat (y/n), however. After all, she isn't the champion of Kanto. That Red guy is and I'm pretty sure Blue was before him.

(Your point of view)

The elevator stopped at the ground floor and we walked into the house. Mini-mansion. Chateau. Extra fancy house. "The last time I came here was forever ago," I murmured. Gladion nodded and I followed him to the dining area. "Mother. Lillie," Gladion said when he entered the room. Lillie ran straight up to me and gave me a bear hug. "I missed you so much!" She exclaimed. "Pretty sure I missed you more!" I responded. "It's a pleasure to see you, too, Lusamine." I sat down next to Lillie and opposite Gladion. Lusamine sat opposite Lillie and next to Gladion. Lusamine looked me up and down and then turned to her son. She whispered something which I couldn't here at all, but it clearly embarrassed him. He appeared to nearly spat his food out and he began to blush. He quickly shook my head.

Lillie and mother looked at each other and then looked at us. "We saw you on the elevator via cameras," Lillie teased. I started burning red aswell. Already? Why must life taunt me so! "You what?" Gladion and the I yelled in unison. "We saw you on the cameras," Lusamine repeated with a grin. The blonde opposite me was shaking in anger and my jaw dropped. "You've got it all wrong! We're just friends! Rivals!" I proclaimed. The two platinum blonde women just sat their giggling with each other. They whispered something to each other which I barely made out. "Clearly they like each other," Lusamine whispered. "They don't do a good job of showing it. You talk to (y/n) about it and I'll talk to Gladion," Lillie giggled. I slammed my head against the table. I was petrified with shock and embarrassment.

"Enjoy your dinner, (y/n). You're a guest. We can save this conversation for another time. It will probably be focused on Gladion's end, anyway. Don't worry too much," Lusamine chuckled. "Come on. It's been three years! Be lively, (y/n)! We're also going to battle after this! I want to show you how strong I've gotten from back then," Lillie chimed in. I nodded in response.

*30 minutes later, after dinner and the battle*

"How did you beat me so quickly? I don't understand I improved so much from then," Lillie inquired. I gave her a warm smile. "Don't feel bad about it, Lillie. She did the same to me. She is still the champion of Alola, after all" Gladion consoled his sister. This is fun... I only fear and dread the talk I must have with your mother before I leave.
