You're still with your training, miraculously you actually have a talent for this. Your progress is slow but steady, it sure is good enough from what Kakashi and Sakumo said as they were impressed with your skills to. It sure is in the blood, Hatake's blood.

"If you keep improving like this, I'm sure you will be skillful with at least knives or any small weapon." Your father praised you as you lie down at the engawa with both your legs swinging down as you try to regain your breath again.

"You mean, I can beat anyone I want, right?" You asked with a small smirk.

Your father sweat dropped at your weird question. "Um, no...me and your Oji-san teach you these so you can defend yourself later on. Not to beat anyone..." He shrugged.

"I know..." You said with a small pout. "But, I can, right?"

Your father sighed. "Yes, you can," he replied, completely defeated.

You smirk with victorious, it's not that you want to beat someone or get into a fight, just...in case that happens, well, you already heard that your father said 'yes' and that is what matters now.

"The festival...you wanna go, (y/n)?" Your father asked out of sudden.

"Eerr...about that..." You said, scratching the back of your neck, not knowing how to inform him about your plan with Itachi. "I think...I'm going to clean myself first...I'm kinda tired too..." You said, trying to find your way out of the situation with the nicest excuse for this escape.

"Sure. I-uh...talk to you later..." He said as he went into the house with some disappointment were plastered on his face.

You felt guilty. Did you do something wrong? Or maybe your words? Did he feels...a bit distant from you? Well, you admit that you were extra close with your father since the very first memory you made but now...you always train with your grandfather, sometime with your father but not that frequent and at night you usually spend your time to help your grandfather and go to sleep early as you were so tired. You rarely spend some quality time with him right now. You usually will chat with him or joking around with him or even just...sit in the same room together while scrolling each other's phone, you will sometime ask him about some trivia or even weird stuff but he never ignored your words. It sure change a lot since you came here...

You sighed. "Maybe...I am too harsh or that question is too important to him..." You shrugged and quickly grabbed your towel and went to the bathroom to clean yourself from all the sticky sweat. You put some shampoo on your palm before scrubbing the silky liquid on your hair until it form some good amount of foam. You massage your scalp and let the cold water run down your smooth skin, then you grabbed the soap, cleaning your whole body and lastly was your face with your facial soap. It sure is a good quality of shower especially when the cold water started to wash away the stress and tensed muscle away from your body. You then dry your body with your towel, put on some comfy clothings on and wrapped the towel on your head to dry your hair before you stepped out of the bathroom.

You walked to the living room to find for your father but he's not there. Weird. Where did he go? You walked out and you noticed that your father's shoes is not there, he must be gone to somewhere. You ran to the small farm behind the house and saw your grandfather there, gathering some fresh vegetables for tonight.

"Oji-san, did you know where Oto-san go? His shoes is not there." You told the old man with a slight of worries in your words.

Sakumo chuckled at how panic you are when your father had magically dissapeared like this. "He knows when to get back here, (y/n). He can take care of himself." He replied as he continues with his work.

You pout. "Oji-san... you're not helping at all..."

He chuckled again at you. You surely a copy of Kakashi but you still your own personality for sure, especially that childish nature in you. Well, that's what people say, don't kill the child in you to enhance your joy. He then turned to you, sitting on the rock as he patted the empty side to you and said, "When Kakashi is still a little boy, he's kinda naughty but intelligent, very smart if I could say. But, a child is a child. One day, when I got home from the sea, I found out the boy suddenly went missing."

You were interested to hear the story and you quickly sit next to your grandfather. "Then, where did he go, Oji-san?"

The said man then looked at the blue sky above his head, "I was worried and panic of course, I mean, he's just give and he rarely went out from home. I quickly ran to find him and I found him playing with a certain raven boy at the old shrine. I never saw the boy before and Kakashi told me that the boy just move in here. The raven ran away from his house because he wants to play..." Your grandfather paused as he laughed at his own memory. "It's normal for a child to do so...from that on, he becomes Kakashi's closest friend and went to Tokyo as your father had a call from the private school there. I was overjoyed for his achievement but after knowing that his best friend doesn't get the same school as him, Kakashi was a bit frustrated about it but he still attend the school. Not long after that, the boy's family moved away from this village and I never heard about them again...".

You sweat dropped. This story doesn't help you to track your father at all... Wait, this boy...is it, the Uchiha? Uchiha Obito? Maybe...your father did miss Obito... "Do you know where Oto-san and his friend will play? The old shrine, where is it?"

He smiled at you. "Those two usually play at the river behind the shrine. The shrine is on the hill, you must pass the small forest to get there. Not so far away from here. Wait, don't tell me that you're going there, (y/n)?"

Too late, you already sprint away and head to the front door to go to the said place. You put on your shoes and quickly went out the front gate and accidentally bumped into someone and fall on your back while the other person met the same date as your's.

You quickly get up and apologise, "I'm sorry, sir. I wasn't looking where I'm going, I'm really sorry..." You said and your eyes widened to see the familiar guy, still on his back on the ground. You reached your hand to him but he just shrugged and get up by himself.

"Sorry, (y/n)... it's not that I don't want to take your hand but...you know..."

You smiled at him to show that you're actually understand. It's your wrong doing to for giving him your hand, well, it's just a normal reflex by the way. "No, it's okay, Itachi-kun. I understand...why are you here?" You asked.

"Umm...I want to meet with Kakashi-sensei and told him that I want to take you to the festival with me. I forgot about it?" He asked, a small smirk started to form at the corner of his lips while his gaze never left your face.

"What? Oh. Yeah. I remember...sorry, but I'm in a hurry now. Bye!" You said as you walked passed him.

"Wait!"

A loud clasp sound was heard after Itachi said that. You felt a strong yet gentle grip at your left arm arm which is behind your back. You looked back and your (e/c) orbs locked with the onyx ones. The time suddenly freeze between the two of you out of sudden, it's just a calm aura is surrounding the two of you. It felt warm, but it is not because of the summer heat, it's because you can feel the heat from Itachi's hand on your arm. It felt...lovely.

Your gaze were locked for more than 10 seconds, that same goes with Itachi's grip on your arm. He hadn't let go yet even though he has his allergic... Then, the both of you snapped from that time freeze moment and both of you turned to each other hands. Itachi quickly let go of your arm with a blush mess face, already covering his mouth but still vomit afterwards.

You at the same time, blushed as well. It's weird. Way too weird. What happened just now, it felt... magical. It was something that you never felt before...when Itachi hold you, it felt like even the whole world is trying to kill you, they can't. You're in the safest zone in the whole universe when you're with him... Being with him, it gives the same feeling as how you were with your father. How he will protect you, talk with well mannered language to you, care for you and...love you.

You finally got to sweep away those weird thoughts as you can feel your face is all heated up right now. If you have a mirror right now, you could say for sure that you're blushing until it reaches your ears right now. You looked at Itachi who is still feeling sick after that touch and that scene makes you feel pity on him. That's right, he's here for you and all you did is going to leave him just like that. That's really an inappropriate thing to do towards a guest.

You crouch to the same level as his and you wanted to pat his back but you know that will only makes thing worst. "I'm sorry, Itachi-kun..." You said quietly at him, which makes only him who could here your soft voice.

"You're making me confused, (y/n)... none of this is your fault." He explained as he raised his head to meet your eyes again. 'Maybe...I do like her...' he just lost in his thoughts for a while before he came back to you, the reality. "Why are you in hurry, (y/n)?"

"I want to search for Oto-san...he was...he seems like he wanted to tell me something but I just ignored him and after I finished my shower, he's gone... it's not worry to be honest... it's just...I feel guilty." You confessed to him while looking down at the ground. It sure is making you over think whenever you saw your father is sad like that.

"I see... Where do you want to search for him? I can lend you a hand. Plus, I'm here to meet him by the way." Itachi said, offering his help to you.

You smiled broadly at him and you wanted to hug him but, you need to hold it back. "Thanks, Itachi-kun! Maybe we can start at the old shrine on the hill, not far from here." You explained to him.

"Why start with that place?" He questioned.

"Oji-san told me that Oto-san usually plays there with his friend. They love to play by the river near that shrine too." You told him.

"Okay, that's explains a lot...I actually want to ask more but...I don't think it's necessary right now..." He said as you already started walking ahead him. He then quickly went to catch up with your speed as well.

"Hm? Unnecessary? Why is that?" You asked, tilting your head to the side while walking straight to look for the shrine.

"Hn, maybe not now...we need to look for Kakashi-sensei first." He said flatly.

"I see...then, I will wait until you ask me that question." You said, grinning at him.

He was stunned by your bright grin. It surely like a happy sunshine ray for him for a while. "You will wait? It's just a question, not a big deal, you know. I might forgot about that as well." He said as he smile softly while looking ahead on the road.

"Of I'll wait! It sounds important to me eventhough you said it is not necessary..." You rolled your eyes at him.

"And why is that, (y/n)?" He said, smirking after he spoke your beautiful name out. Your curiousness is something that he find cute of you.

"Because you said it is unnecessary 'for now'," you answered sarcastically at him, bolding the word 'for now' to make sure he noticed about it.

"I didn't say that." He said in his sarcastic tone. He surely not as serious as he looks for now. He's more to annoying right now but you don't hate it for sure. It makes you feel closer to him.

"Yes, you did."

"No. I didn't."

"You said it, Itachi-kun!" He's finally get on your nerves right now.

"Nope. I said 'I don't think it's necessary for now'. Not 'unnecessary for now'."

You puffed you cheeks. "What's the differences?!" You half yelled at him while giving a quick smack on his shoulder. It doesn't makes him nauseous because it's just a quick one.

He blushed and look away. He's surely sensitive when you 'touch' him. It's not even at his skin, though. "The spelling and the pronunciation of course..."

"You'll pay for your sarcasm, Itachi-kun!" You said as you about to grab him by his shoulder but he quickly moved away from you. He gulped when he can see the pure anger is burning I'm your eyes. You opened a big step towards him and he started to run away from you as fast as he can.

"I'll chase you until the deepest part of the earth, Itachi-kun!!!!" You yelled as you quickly went after him with all the speed you have.

"Try it! I'm waiting!" He chided.

"ITACHI-KUN!!!!"
