continuation of my one shot from 2 months ago,
read the first part before this one if you forgot what happened

"Please, Luce... I know you can stop this.." salmon haired boy begged while looking at his 'best friend' with desperation in his eyes.

He closed his eyelids for a moment to remember Lucy's true self. She looked so happy and so enthusiastic in his memory.. and now, her face held a sinister smile, but her eyes were completely dull.

"Can't you just get over the fact that your lover is long gone? Lucy Heartfilia doesn't exist in this world anymore! She lost the battle against me, just like all of your friends! Look around you, Dragneel! All of them are either unconscious or dead!" The demon spoke while smiling viciously.

The boys eyes met the ground, realizing what was happening around him. All of his friends were indeed laying motionlessly.

Wendy was laying on the ground next to Carla with few bruises.

Erza was leaned on the wall with blood slowly pouring from her stomach, ELH's magic managed to cut right through her skin.

Gray was on the ground face down, at his last breaths he tried to reach Juvia who was stabbed by the knife. He was just few centimeters away before his body gave out.

Natsu clenched his fist harshly and raised his chin.

"You may be right about the fact that I'm physically alone in this fight, but no matter what you say.. I know Lucy's not dead. She can't be! If you're so sure she's dead then you wouldn't flinch every minute. She's tough, isn't she?" Fire mage smiled at ELH as her smile faded and was replaced by a frown.

Her gaze lowered and her eyes faded from the shadow of her dirty bangs. She gritted her teeth in anger and in seconds, a dark bean formed in her hand.

She aimed at Natsu and shoot him just before he managed to defend himself. It made a full hit and sent him flying, as his back met the wall he let out a painful groan.

"Saw that? That's her magic, the one she never told you nor anyone else about. Pretty powerful, right?"

"Huh?" He coughed out blood.

"Poor thing, she doesn't even realize how powerful she is.. and now she never will, that's truly unfortunate." Blondes eyes quickly shut as a sharp pain went through her head.

I can't listen to your bullshit anymore!

I'm not going to let you hurt my friends!

You already did too much!!

"Luce..?" Fire mage breathed out.

"AGH!! YOU STUPID GIRL!!" Blonde demon shouted from the top of her lungs. Her knees collapsed and kissed the floor as she clenched onto her scalp.

"N-Natsu... now.. k-kill me!" Natsu's eyes widened in horror at her sudden words. He was still contemplating if it was the Lucy he knew or just another trick.

"W-What?!" His doubts disappeared as soon as she looked up at him with her chocolate eyes. He couldn't even feel happy for seeing her, sadness from her request was just too overwhelming.

"DO IT!!"

"You know damn well I can't!! Don't ask from me such dumb thing, Lucy!" His lip quivered as he spoke. His heart kept twisting in pain and stress.

"Natsu... I know it's not an easy request but- agh!! Please! I don't have much.. time! I wouldn't ask for it if I thought you couldn't do it.." her breathing was heavy as tears filled her eyes.

"No.. I can't.."

"Ask of me anything but that!" he cried out while tears streamed down his bruised face.

"Please, Natsu... take this as my last favor from you. Let me die as L-Lucy!" Her tears flew and her pain was great, but it couldn't compare to what Natsu was going through.

He began stepping towards her as she gripped onto her chest for dear life, she couldn't bare this for much longer.

As the salmon haired boy stood in front of her she weakly smiled at him for the last time and lowered her head, waiting for her death.

After few moments she re-opened them when she felt two palms on her cheeks. When he lifted her head she saw his crying face, he looked so damaged, so broken.. He sobbed hard while holding her head close to his. It hurt her so much to see him like this.

His eyes closed and he slowly moved closer to her, gently colliding their lips together. Lucy gasped at his gesture. His lips were cracked and she could taste a bit of his blood. But the kiss still felt somehow right.

His love is so whole, my missing pieces appear. Because his touch carries such passion, what was scarred becomes soft once more. Because he is steady and patient, my open wounds have time to seal and vanish. Perhaps that is why they say love is such magic, this gift from the universe. This is exactly why I fell in love with you, Natsu..

As Natsu pulled away he noticed s light in front of him. His eyes widened as his best friend was glowing. The boy suddenly felt shock inside his chest from noticing Lucy's raise of magic power.

After few moments she stopped glowing and fell forward, unconscious. Natsu was quick to catch her, but he wasn't happy, not yet. He worried about what just happened.

- few days later -

"And that's the whole story.." Fire mage explained while tightly holding blondes hand. He told his friends what happened after they awoke.

"Did Wendy heal her?" Scarlet haired woman asked.

"I did, I did everything I could, now it's on Lucy-san to do the rest. But we have to consider the fact that she's tired, her very soul is tired from fighting that awful demon, so it might take her awhile to wake up.." tiny bluenette sighed with sadness.

Everyone around her did as well.

"Natsu.." Lucy whispered as she landed her eyes on the sleeping Dragon Slayer. Her hand gently rubbed his head, successfully waking him up.

His eyes slowly opened and he immediately looked up at the blonde.

She had bandages around her forehead and almost every muscle. She gave him a weak smile as his eyes filled with tears, his heart was overwhelmed with happiness from seeing her.

"You're awake.." he breathed, not caring about the falling tears.

He carefully wrapped his arms around her body and pulled her closer into a tight embrace.

"I missed you.." his voice cracked as his sobs became visible.

"I'm sorry for worrying you.."

"Lucy.. I promised myself I'd tell you something as soon as you wake up.."

"Okay, I'm listening."

Natsu breathed in to prepare for what he had to say.

"Having you in my life made me realize a hella lot of things, you make me feel like everything's possible in this world, like I can conquer anything. I want you to know that I never regretted meeting you that day in Hargeon and I know you are my first and what I really wish in life is for you to be my last.." He assumed she didn't love him back, but he just couldn't resist. Dear god, he couldn't fight against the feelings that were going through him.

"Natsu,"

"I feel exactly the same.." the blonde smiled gratefully.

"You do?"

"Of course I do.." he smiled at her words and leaned in a little closer, their foreheads touching and soon enough, their lips as well.

When she kissed him back his brain lit on fire and the warmth spread throughout his entire body. After that he was addicted, addicted to her.
