Book: Love is a Joke by khoosh26

Cover art could have had a better font, but was overall good. The title has been used on other books, and I'm not fond of the all caps on the world joke, but it works. The summary was on point. The start of the book was a mess, had extra chapters with pictures of the characters. The pace and the hook was a bit off. The style was inconsistent. The grammar errors rested mainly in capital errors. The transitions were done well and scenes did not spill into the next scene. I knew this would be cliched from the start. It says "not you typical love story" as the first words in the summary. From what the characters gave me, this was relatable, but they could've given more of their thoughts to the reader, gone more in depth. Characters were cliched, however, they did make me happy. Overall this has great potential, but holds the obvious cliche of the jock falling in love with the average girl. Some writers can make cliches work, and by changing some of the elements I believe you have the power to pull this off. I think if a constant style was established, and cliches minimized, this would truly be a good story.
