You want t o know what sucks? WHEN YOUR INTERNET GOES OUT FOR THREE. FREAKING. DAYS. I know I'm over exaggerating, but it doesn't feel like it. So, update of the past month or so:

I'm doing okay. We're all here for each other and the goings been rough but the worst part is over. I went to his funeral. The family didn't expect so many people to show up, so you had people standing in hallways, in aisles, sitting the floor, absolutely everywhere. It was amazing, and very sad. I cried with everybody else. I almost broke down completely when they picked the coffin up to carry it outside. Then I went to my best friends house, who made my horrible day all better. I can never thank her enough for how much she does for me, and for how well she sticks with me throughout all the crap I put her through. Thanks @shadowheartartist .

On Halloween, I went to the fair with 8 other good friends of mine, we had a ton of fun then went trick or treating, then to a cook out where I ended up not eating because I felt sick, then we went home and goofed off during a sleepover. Then when I returned to school Monday, I had to face the wrath of two of the people I refused to go trick or treating with because I had already planned the fair thing a month in advance. Then I had to face something more horrifying: my birthday.

I probably heard the birthday song 15 times and only three classes I went to sung it. Do the math. I told almost no one about my birthday, because I didn't want anyone to feel inclined to do anything about my birthday. Still, I had friends who remembered and brought me stuff, mostly candy, my amazing parents took me to eat wherever I wanted, and my mom got me a case for my new kindle, which my dad got me about a month or two ago as an early birthday present (funny story, he left in plain sight with my name and happy birthday written on it, right in front of the place I always sit, I passed right by it and didn't notice it until he said something about it 20 minutes later.) And he also got me a gift card, which I plan to spend on books and my new song obsession. If anyone is curious, my birthday was the 2nd of November!

shadowheartartist had her birthday recently to, happy birthday again! And she invited me to do laser tag with her! We rocked it (us 2 and 2 of her other friends)! We finally started teaming up in the free for all's and no one could beat us, or steal the sniper tower we had deemed our base! At one point, I had the high score for the day with 12,400 points in a free for all, over 4000 points above 2nd place, which was shadowheartartist with something like 8,365 or something like that. Of course she later beat my score when we did actual teams, but what can I say, she's awesome and I'm still proud of my score! I might not be able to play Halo or Call of Duty without shooting my own foot off, hitting my teammate with a truck, or blowing myself up, but I got my dad's aim so I can sure play laser tag! I've only ever been the laser tag place twice so please excuse my enthusiasm. By the way, I was one of the 2 snipers!

Also, I wrote a short murder story (497 words) because we had to in my language arts class, anyone want to read it? I'm also entering a writing/illustration contest when it comes around for my art teacher, along with about 3-6 other of our students. I've already started writing it!
