I see shops with  people at every corner and catch whiffs of the  street foods

I learn names of the new places and there was this one vintage looking church

The road leading to it was particularly and strangely silent and the vibe of it was nothing like what I have felt before

Dimly lit yet it was a gem amongst all the other buildings on that street

We make quick stops to videotape us and things around us in an attempt to turn them into memories

I turned into the person I've only wished to bring out of my wildest dreams

We buy supplies for the next day and we pay with our parent's money like we don't care

I think about how I finally came out of my tough little shell to explore the big city outside

I hop on the bike and we start riding into the night 

The girls and I have fun dancing and watching things girls watch and then I sit there silently observing and experiencing what it is like to have friends

What it is like to go on sleepovers and night rides

We then tap away on our phones posting pictures and stories on social media  for  the world to see how interesting we turned our day

I wish for this night to last longer
