Background Info:

Oscar Pine may have been an ordinary farmboy living in a farm somewhere in Mistral but little that he knew that he was a humanoid alien from outer space. His biological name was Orion. He was a Saiyan, a proud humanoid alien race fromwith a monkey tail that can transform into a giant Great Ape or Oozaru when there was a moon or artificial moon in Planet Vegeta. He was the younger brother of Fasha(or Seripa in Super), a low-class female Saiyan and warrior along with other Saiyan warriors led by Bardock, the father of Kakarot/Goku.

Fasha survived the ambush set up by Dodoria and his men loyal to Galatic Emperor, Frieza but was shock to see her comrades except Bardock died in cold blood. Fearing about Frieza's plan to destroy Planet Vegeta, she and Bardock went to warn the other Saiyans but due of low-class rank, they were ridiculed or ignore the warning. Bardock decide to tell his wife(and Fasha's former rival) Gine about send their son Kakarot into faraway planet where Frieza will not detected and ask Fasha if she has a relative. Fasha told him she has a younger brother named Orion and she too decide the same plan. After putting Kakarot and Orion on their two separate pods, Bardock, Gine and Fasha say farewell to the sleeping children before the pods launching to the faraway planet that was Earth.

Later on, Bardock along with Gine and Fasha led their own rebellion against Frieza but it was futile when Frieza fire a Death Ball to them and direct hit into Planet Vegeta. Bardock and Gine were holding their hands while Fasha closed her eyes as they met their fate saw a vision of an adult Kakarot and Orion facing Frieza before it faded as Planet Vegeta was destroyed.

Kakarot's pod crash on Earth and was found by Grandpa Gohan but Orion's pod was crash to a place called Mistral. He was found by Emily Pine and adopted as Oscar Pine.
