Today was a productive day Lord. I cooked all day._. Slow cookers are weird but the food came out good in the end. I'm glad my dad and his girlfriend liked it but I made a bit too much and then had to do something with the left over chicken so I made some chicken tenders for the kids. Productive! I feel better than yesterday Lord: Thank you. I took my friend advice and decided to take a couple slow breaths to calm down and then remembered what another friend told me. She sent me a scripture: "Though your sins are as red as crimson, I will make them as white as snow." That really helped Lord and I guess it makes sense. Fighting only fuels things when I am on my own. It feeds the enemy because I let them get to me and retaliate. I guess even when I'm calm I'm always fuming. Need to keep my temper in check. I'm sort of excited Lord because tomorrow is prayer night at church! My first technical prayer night I will be going to. I use to go to one when I was younger and my mom dragged me....fell asleep during it truth be told so I'm hoping I won't fall asleep during it this time. Thank you Lord for always looking out for me and those I care about. Thank you for you never failing grace even when I do fail Lord.
