All alone he sat. 
His eyes locked on the colorless walls.
Losing himself bit by bit as the seconds ticked by. Dick was locked within the hospital and a piece of himself was now thinking that his was the place he belonged so he wouldn't be a danger to his siblings any longer.

Just then the door to his hospital opened up with a nurse and to Dick's surprise his father Bruce. Dick sent Bruce a glare and moved farther back upon his hospital bed. He wanted nothing to do with Bruce, especially after everything that has been going on lately.

"What are you doing here? Are the kids alright? Are they...did you-" began Dick, furry burning deep inside his blue eyes.

"I here to take you home'' said Bruce with a small smile on his face. Dick looked strangely over at Bruce and then something hit him, this wasn't Bruce.

"Home?" questioned Dick and the Bruce imposer nodded his head 'yes'. Dick quickly jumped off his hospital bed and looked from the nurse then back at the Bruce imposer. The nurse then turned and left leaving the two of them all alone. A bag was handed to him, full of clothes and a pair of sunglasses. Dick ran his fingers over them and then looked up with a smile on his face.

'Hey' thought Dick and right away he was met with a response right away.
'Hi. It is good to see you again Dick.' they said.
'Same M'gann. Now, who's idea was this?' asked Dick. M'gann quickly changed out of Bruce's form and back to her normal one and flew quickly over towards him, throwing her arms around him in a huge hug.

"I've...we have missed you so much!'' said M'gann cheerfully. She pulled away and brushed a tear off of her face.
"Your brother Jason called Wally and well I'm sure you can figure out the rest'' she said and Dick nodded his head. "So, are you ready to go home?" M'gann asked him but he was unsure as to where his home was.

"I...I don't think I have one M'gann'' whispered Dick, who turned away from her and rubbed his wrist. 

She quickly flew around him, so he was looking at her. "Of course you do! Mount Justice is your home Dick, along with us, your family.'' she said. Dick'e eyes locked on her with tears in them but he refused to let himself shed a tear. He nodded and then the two of them set off towards the mountain.

Rang out the zeta tubes, and as soon as Dick stepped through them he was ran into. He took a step backwards and looked down at the small figure who was gripping tightly onto him, it was Damian.

"Dami!?!" cried out Dick. He quickly bent down and picked Damian up in his arms and held him tightly and closely to his chest. Damian quickly buried his head in Dick's chest and gave Dick a squeeze. Dick looked over and saw Jason and Wally smiling widely at him. Dick smiled and nodded his head as a 'thank you' to the both of them.

Dick then put Damian on his hip and looked around the room, not seeing what or more like who he was looking for a frown appeared upon his face and he quickly looked over at Jason. 
As soon as their eyes met, Jason knew right away what caused the sudden frown on his big brother's face.

Dick was looking for Tim and Cass, who were nowhere in sight. Jason slowly shook his head 'no' and he could see both confusion and hurt come across his face. 
Tim and Cass stayed behind, they stayed at the manor with Bruce and knowing that broke Dick's heart.

Jason could see all the pain in Dick's eyes and quickly rushed over towards his brothers and gave them a big hug. 

They made their way towards the living room and sat down on the couch. Damian only stayed awake for about a few minutes before snuggling up on Dick and drifting off to sleep with a smile on his face. Dick kept running his finger through Damian's black hair. 
Dick sighed and glanced over at Jason who was sitting beside him. 

"Dick-" began Jason.
"Jason, it's alright.'' said Dick who laid his head on the back of the couch. Jason ran his eyes over his big brother and shook his head. "No. No it's not alright. This is anything but alright. He...You have suffered too much and he should-" Jason said with anger and hurt in his words.

"Jay, just stop. I'm...I'm too tried right now to talk about all of this...him'' said Dick, his eyes were glazed over with sleep. Jason nodded his head and moved closer towards Dick and laid his head upon his shoulder.
"Then rest Dickie, you deserve and need it.'' said Jason who closed his eyes and began to fall asleep on Dick's shoulder. Dick smiled at his little brother, his eyes slowly closing on him but stopped from closing completely when a breeze of air rushed by him. He sat up and smiled widely at Wally, who he consider to be his best friend.

"Hey Walls'' said Dick.

"Hey Dick. I-I...I am so sorry. I should have noticed, or been there or..." began Wally but Dick stopped him.

"It's not your fault Wally, okay. There was nothing you or anyone could have done because I covered it up so well. It's my job to take care of them.'' said Dick.
"Yeah, but Dick it is also his Bruce's job too. He is their father, yours. He should be the one sacrificing everything for them and you not the other way around. Dick you-" said Wally.

"I get it Wally'' said Dick and laid back against he couch, getting more comfy as Jason laid more so on him. 

"Do you though, do you really?" questioned Wally. Dick glanced over at Wally and thought for a second. He sighed and he could tell that Wally understood this, that Dick really didn't get it even though he said he did.

All these years, all Dick has done was sacrifice everything, including himself for his family, because of Bruce,his father, not doing his job, doing what a father should do for his children and family. 
Dick had twisted, bent and broken himself for them. And Wally knew that Dick had done this from the very beginning, way before Bruce turned out this way. He was always willingly and unwillingly sacrificing himself for everyone, the world but never ever doing a single thing for himself. 

Selfish wasn't a word that could be used to describe Dick at all.
