Mallika was looking at everyone nervously and finally spoke up.

'Actually, what happened wasn't entirely my mistake. I mean it is my mistake but not mine completely. There were some technical errors as well which I didn't expect to turn out like this', she started by beating around the bush.

'Mallika, don't be afraid. Just say clearly na! I didn't understand a single thing you just said', Anika tried to calm Mallika down.

Shivaay smirked sarcastically and whispered, 'even she does the same'. Which was heard by Anika and she glared at him. Shivaay pretended to be innocent and pointed towards Mallika who began talking again.

'Yesterday, I wanted to give surprise to Shivaay and record his reaction when he sees me. Since he doesn't know that I'm back in India. To him I'm supposed to be in New York but plans were changed and I came back here. So, I was making the video while entering this building. When I was at the door, I saw that water stunt and the devil inside me got carried away. I cut the video and edited it. It went perfect with the song as well. And then, what happened was... I...', she stammers.

'It's Ok, Mallika. You can say it', Shivaay encouraged her.

'What happened was that I accidentally sent the video to your make-up team group instead of you and then the video went viral. I saved the group's name as Shivaay - Make-up team. That's how it was mistakenly sent. I'm really very sorry!', she spit out everything very fast.

'That's ok! No problem', Anika said and hugged Mallika.

'What do you mean by no problem, huh?? Do you even realize how much my reputation is going to go down because of this? How on...', Shivaay's rant was interupted mid-way.

'You always think of yourself right??? Everything's about you!!! We're nothing. We don't matter, right? What others feel??? She said she's sorry na... plus the fault isn't entirely hers. There was technical error as she said earlier. Now please don't extend this issue further', Anika argued. Mallika meanwhile was stunned to look at the way Anika was bravely scolding Shivaay.

'Okay! Just stop! This chapter is closed! Happy???', Shivaay gave up.

'Very much! Thank you!', Anika replied and brought Mallika along to her workplace. Khanna also excused himself leaving Shivaay alone in his cabin.

'This girl I telling you! Just a moment ago she was making me all so emotional and now she's driving me insane!!! How can she just take everything lightly in her life??? How can she just be the way she is???', he thought to himself.

Meanwhile, in the workplace, Mallika and Anika were having great bonding time. Mallika was amused by her skills in handling Shivaay. Anika then started showing off in a very cute way like she always does.

'You know what??? You're so cute!!! From the stunt yesterday, I thought you would be bold and brave but never thought you would be a whole package like this! I'm just seriously falling in love with you', Mallika expressed her feelings to Anika.

'Aww!! You're also very sweet. I can see that we'll be great friends in future and we will be spending lots of time together. Oh! And yeah, I need to introduce you to Gauri as well. You'll definitely like her as well!! She'll be here any minute now, wait!!!', Anika replied enthusiastically.

'I would love to stay back and meet Gauri. But I have to go now. I need to do all the arrangements. I promise that we'll catch up after I return from Paris', saying this Mallika left.

Anika was busy in her work when Gauri came in with Om.

'Ani!', she called out.

'Hey Gauri, hi Om Sir! What are you both doing here???', she asked.

'Ani, there's a little problem with my visa. Om Sir spoke to the officials already but we need to get there to take the visa and passport. They are doing this outside the office hours upon Om Sir's special request. I might be home late today. You will manage na? Or do you want to come along with us?', Gauri explained.

'That's ok Gauri. I'll manage. Plus I've got this much of workload on me. You just go ahead and take care of yourself, okay?', Anika relieved Gauri of her stress.

Gauri smiled and went off with Om. Later, Anika left to her home alone. As soon as she reaches home, she called and informed Gauri. Gauri informed her that they will be late as they are stuck in traffic. Anika calmly went to shower and straight away hit her bed.

Shivaay on the other hand, was speaking to Om. He was quite shocked to know that Gauri was with Om and Anika was home alone. He begin to worry for her but Gauri assured him that she's fine. Shivaay was still feeling restless when he slides into the bed. In a while, his phone rang. Anika's number was flashing. He got worried and immediately got up and answered the call.

'Hell...', before he could greet her.

'Shivaay Sir! There's someone in the house!!! I'm really scared. Please come right away! Gauri is not here yet and I'm scared!', she said while crying.

Shivaay got up right away and rushed to his car.

'Anika! Listen to me. I'm coming okay? I'm coming right away! Where are you now?', he asked being concerned for her.

'I'm in my room. In the cupboard. I'm scared', her voice was cracking.

'Did you lock the room door??? Just stay calm okay! I'm coming. I won't let anything to happen to you. Just don't stop talking to me. Be on the phone with me!', he instructed while speeding off to her house.

'Okay! But I'm really scared. What if they found me?', she worriedly asked.

'Nothing will happen to you! I won't let anything to happen to you! Got that?', he reassured her.

'See, I've reached your building already. I'll be there in just two minutes', he said breathelessly as he ran into the building. He took the stairs instead of the elevator. He was hell worried about her.

Just then, Anika heard sounds of her door being broken. She got even more scared.

'Shivaay!!! They're breaking the room door. Come fast!!! I'm scared!!! Please hurry up!!!', she pleaded in fear while crying.

Shivaay got into her house and saw two men trying to break Anika's room 's door. They successfully broke it but Shivaay made them both hit the floor. He beat them to pulp. Not being able to take his hits, both of them ran away. Shivaay then went ahead and opened the cupboard. He found a scared Anika. She was hugging her legs and burried her face into her knees. She was trembling in fear.

'Anika! I'm here. It's fine now!', Shivaay said while placing his hand on her head. She straight away jumped on to hug him. She hold on to him tightly due to fear. Shivaay consoled and calmed her down by brushing her hair. He held her close to himself as well.

'It's okay! I'm here now. Everything's fine. Just relax. Relax, okay?', he went on calming her down. Shivaay then broke the hug when her sobbing stops. He wiped away all the remaining tears  and made her sit. He got her some water and fed her with his hand.

She was still trembling out of fear. And he side-hugged her assuring that evrything is fine. She's fine now.

'I'll not let anything happen to you!!!', he uttered. She rested her head on his shoulder and composed herself.
