Story time.

When I first created this piece, I purposely stayed up all night working on it just so that I could put it in the spring art show at the high school the next day. Little did I know that my principle would take one look at it and tell me "ABSOLUTELY NOT." Why? Because there's a hint of underboob? Is it because high school boys simply cannot handle looking at a female shoulder without being distracted? But the bisexual girl in my art class was allowed to put up a lesbian piece in the art show.. And that certainly was showing some skin. But of course they allowed that piece to stay up because if they took it down it would be "discrimination" against LGBTQ. I'm not saying they should've taken hers down, but if hers was up there shouldn't have been any reason why mine couldn't be. (Don't worry, this story has a happy ending!) So I talked to my art teacher about this and he also called BS on it. So he went and talked to the principal about it, and I don't know what he said to her, but the next day my piece was up in the spring art show where it belonged:)
