Jeremiah let out a disbelieving laugh. “Sorry? Sorry ain't just gonna cut it.”

He pulled off the shirt and threw it at her. She caught it out of instinct.

He pointed at the purple-stained shirt. “You wash that and give it to me tomorrow.”

Rachael's eyes bulged out of her head. “E-excuse me,” she sputtered. “I'm not your maid!”

“Okay, why don't we take the issue to YGT then? Let's settle it there. See what she has to say about bullying,” Jeremiah said.

She opened and closed her mouth, at a loss for words.

Jeremiah smiled, sullenly. “I thought so.”

Then he walked away, leaving the crowd behind.

Jeremiah wanted to serve the punishment his father gave him, but Rachael just had to waltz into his life.
