"Okay Moonkit, this is one of the biggest days of your life! Go fight like a tiger," meowed Doelake.
"And prance like a doe," replied Moonkit.
It was kind of their thing to do this when ever Moonkit was faced with a decision or challenge.
"Moonkit step forward, from this day on you will be known as Moonpaw, and Rainshine will be your mentor," said Frozenstar.
"But, I want to be a warrior!" Moonpaw protested.
"Do you know how bad it is already to have a crippled kit like you, that gives our Clan a weak image, huh! You know nothing kit," spat Frozenstar.
"Well, why don't you give me a chance as a warrior, and if I disappoint you, I give you the right to make me step down from my duties, and become a medicine cat," Moonpaw snapped.
"Fine, your mentor will be Heartshine," sighed Frozenstar.
However, nobody cheered for Moonpaw after he received his apprentice name. Well, all except for Heartshine and Doelake.
"Well, let's get to training! But, I might have something that can help you," said Heartshine.
They walked to the training hollow and Heartshine started gathering leaves, sticks, and vines, that when she finished, it created something that I could not recognize.
"It's something, that lifts your back up and keeps your legs on the ground, so you can get around like a normal cat can," replied Heartshine.
I stepped into this thing and it felt great! I loved that I was able to get around all by myself!
"Thank you Heartshine, it's wonderful!" Moonpaw was so happy!
"Well, let's go back to camp and we will start training for real tomorrow," replied Heartshine.
