H;

I marched through the woods, freshly fallen snow crunching under my boots. As I started getting close to the town, I swore I heard humming. I looked around, but didn't see anyone. I sighed and trudged on. The snow started up again, the small flakes getting stuck in my hair. It made the forest almost look friendlier. Looking around, I saw blood stuck on a tree. I walked over to it and remembered when I first came here.

The leaves on the ground crunched as we walked. Eclipse had been oddly silent for this trip. Probably stuck in her head again. I started to wander into my own thoughts when I heard a snarl next to me followed by a crack. Looking over, I saw Eclipse looking bewildered at the tree, like she was still registering what happened. I couldn't hold back my laughter. I leaned against a tree to help hold me up as I laughed. I saw Eclipse glare at me with her now flat nose and a small cut on her lip.

"Y-your no-se" I stuttered through my laughs. She grabbed her nose and held it for awhile. In the meantime, my laughter died down and I found myself playing with a stick on the ground. "Better?" I asked, unamused on how much time it took for her to heal.

"Shall we then? Or do you need a minute to laugh at your friend's broken node." Eclipse answered. I knew she was a little frustrated, but I didn't really care that much.

"Nah, I should be fine."

"Ok then, lez go!"

I shook the memory away and continued on my way. I finally came to the bushes that separated the forest from the town. Pushing them aside, I was greeted with a small town with a crater sitting next to it. I walked down the hill to get down to the town, and bee lined for the crater. Sat down and pushed myself down until my feet hit rock. I had to grab onto the rock for support, but I eventually climbed down to the center of it. The bottom was flat and nothing was down here but many memories.

"Hey bitch." I heard Eclipse call. I turned my head to her.

"Yea bitch?" I answered her, still unsure on what she wanted. She smiled.

"I love you." I smiled back.

"I love you too bitch."

I pushed the memory back as my vision started to blur. I stepped to the spot in the snow where she had last been.

She stood and put her hand out, then pulled me out as I grabbed on.

"You ok?" I asked, concerned for my sister. She nodded and smiled.

"How about you?" She asked back. My leg throbbed, but that was all. I nodded and smiled at her.

"I'll live." It was truthful and all she needed to hear at the moment. She smiled again and hugged me, her wings protecting me. I hugged back. I felt she was starting to pull back, so I let go. As I did, I heard a gunshot somewhere close by. Shortly after, Eclipse screamed. My eyes widened as I realized what happened. She let go and seemed to realize it too. She had been shot. My voice failed me as I watched her. She looked to her right before stumbling back.

"Eclipse!" Olive yelled from the other side of the gym. The others looked over too. I stood and watched as she died.

"No." I muttered as I once again shook my head to clear the memories. Kneeling down, I brushed away the snow to reveal a small frozen over pond. Well, hole full of water really. But much deeper than a puddle. Touching the ice, I forced the water to heat, watching as the ice quickly melted. I opened a pouch on my hip and pulled out a black rose. "I love you." I murmured, hugging the black flower. I held my hand over the puddle, and let go of the rose. It hit the water, and slowly made it's way to the bottom. I put my hand back on the water and watched as my ice froze the puddle yet again. I stood slowly, still watching the black rose through the ice. As I turned to leave, I felt a cold hand on my shoulder.

"I love you too sis." I spun around and saw... Eclipse? She was incredibly faded and kinda see through. She looked fully human. There was also small bullet hole in her chest, dried blood still clinging to her grey shirt. She smiled like nothing happened.

"Eclipse?" I whispered.

"In the flesh." She smiled, then looked down and frowned. "Well... not really anymore." She laughed at her own joke and looked back to me. Her smile dropped as she saw my face. "Sorry." She muttered, then stepped back. I shook my head and tackled her into a hug. We stayed like that for awhile, me crying into her shoulder and her rubbing my back. When we finally broke apart, I sniffled and looked at her face. "Molly, you can't hang on to me." She whispered, putting her hand on my shoulder.

"What?" I whispered back.

"Molly, I've been dead five years ok? You need to accept that."

"I have." She shook her head at tapped my forehead with a cold finger.

"No, you haven't. You've called me here, so you've obviously not gotten over me."

"How?" I asked. "How did I call you here?"

"Subconsciously. Your mind called me here to settle this so... here I am!"

"Can I call you again?" I asked, hope rising. It dropped when she shook her head.

"Not exactly." She then looked at the ground.

"Molly, I love you."

"And I love you too." She smiled sadly.

"If you love me, let me go." I shook my head, tears threatening to spill.

"I can't."

"Yes, yes you can." I sniffled as another stupid tear ran down my face. "Molly, you're the strongest person I know. You can do it." I shook my head again.

"If you love me let me go." She repeated, rubbing my back. I nodded this time, taking a deep breath. She smiled. As we sat there, I noticed her legs start to fade. She noticed too, and struck another conversation. "Hey, what's happened whilst I've been gone?"

"Well.." I started, taking another breath. "Rarin and Luna are happily dating, Olive and Hank are living together as best friends somewhere deep in the woods, and I've started being an actor." She nodded, her legs now gone and her stomach starting to fade.

"Well, whatever you choose, I support you." I smiled and she put her hand on my shoulder. "Hey, I'm ok. It doesn't hurt." She gestured to her fading body. "I'm really happy things are going well for everyone. But I should probably go 'meet my maker.'"

"Go to hell." I joked. She smiled goofily at me.

"Don't have anywhere else to go." I wiped another tear away and she softly smiled. "Hey, I'll always be with you. Ok?" I nodded and watched as her shoulders, face, and arms started to fade. "Tell the others I said hi?"

"Of course. I'll let them know you're having a great time in hell." She laughed one more time.

"Of course you would." Then, she was gone. I took awhile to let the rest of my tears out, then started back. I climbed back up and walked back through the dimly lit woods, back home.
