U will pay for it all these voices echoed in his mind messing up....he started sweating profusely cuz of those pinching words and also cuz of the strenuous exercise......he kept increasing his pace trying to escape from the harsh realities....trying to bury those voices somewhere in between the punches but when it failed he started punching more furiously hurting his knuckles also as he wasn't wearing any gloves.......his breath became uneven his pulse rate increase and his heart pumping erratically trying to supply every cell the oxygen of its demand

Manik stop...I dont want this now from somewhere nandini's scared voice came and his hands automatically started moving at the flash speed......he became more furious as he tried to escape from everything.....he stopped only when his legs failed to carry his weight anymore and felt jiggly....stumbling he sat on the ground.....he placed hand on his heart and struggle to get some air inside his lungs and even his intercostal muscles were hurting in an effort to draw some oxygen into his body after such a strenuous exercise.......he grabbed the water bottle and opening the lid he brought it near his mouth and drank the water spilling some on his shirt and shorts bcz of shakiness......he rested his back against the couch he relaxed his body a bit......holding his forehead he messaged it a bit trying to get rid of that worse pain but it failed and with staggering steps he entered his bedroom and laid down on bed without even changing his clothes....his breath uneven and his body temperature was rising......with great difficulty he rolled to the side where painkillers were kept and gulped it quickly along with sleeping pills b4 lying in the same manner and few minutes later he was unaware of his surrounding as sleep overtook him.......

Manik groaned as sun rays fell on his face.....he opened his eyes partially but had to cover his face cuz of the bright light coming as previous night he forgot to put the curtains on......he tried to get up but the headache didnt let him do so as he rested his head back on pillow......messaging his head a little he sat on bed and ordered a coffee for himself while he halfheartedly went towards the bathroom to take shower.....the coffee was present on side table as nandini was fixing the bedsheet

R u okay....did u sleep well she asked to manik who was rubbing his hairs dry with the towel he never liked the hair dryer.....

I slept with navya as I thought not to disturb ur sleep she again stated not getting some answer from him

Hmmm was his one word answer as his heart was still aching at her words but then also he didn't want to shout at her or disturb her by telling her his problems...but on the other side nandini felt dejected at his behaviour...she grabbed his tie and set around his neck as she was holding the edges to tie it but manik stopped her

Na karo his cold eyes met with her eyes which had sth that manik couldn't last looking for more time....without even looking at her for the second time he went out of room as he knew if he would stay there for one more minute then he couldn't control himself from hugging her and kissing her and he didnt want that cuz SHE NEEDED TIME

He went to his office after drinking coffee with painkillers only......as soon as he entered the office he called his manager to discuss important things with him....to check the number of tenders and the progress about each and every project.....now their only focus was to complete the project of government I.e orphanage by putting all their efforts......by discussing imp points with manager he asked the manager to set a meeting of all the heads of section......in the meeting they discussed the important points and how they were going to revise the plan to perform better as it was the only big project left.....

In mid noon manik was working with his sleeves folded and blazer hanging on the back of chair wearing his specs as he was too engrossed in his work.......the door to his office opened and 2 sooted booted men appeared.....manik got up looking at them and Said

M going was the only thing he said as he moved towards the elevator with face lowered down......he walked toward the road like a lifeless body.....he just wanted to forget himself in the noise of world....he wanted to go away from these bad things.......running away from everything he felt tired and sat down on footpath holding his head.....he was numb no feeling at all....his mind was unable to register anything and he was just staring at people blankly.....as his body relaxed a bit things started appearing in his mind one by one and none of them was gud.......he felt like crying to see his effort falling apart....he knew now his company would face a huge downfall all of sudden.....

Iski beti ke sath aisa ho tb ise pta chale ga someone from the mob shouted and manik completely lost his senses.....he turned his head towards that bastard as an invisible energy filled him....grabbing the guy by his shirt he punched him hard such that the guy's nose started bleeding

Mene kuch nhi kia aur khabardar mere beti ke baare mein kuch kha blood filled his eyes as all those bad phases of nandini's miscarriage appeared b4 his eyes....both sides were angry and obviously the whole mob was  more dominant so he was just getting beaten by them until the police intervened.....they dispersed the people and the inspector asked his one soldier to drop manik at home knowing his financial status and his contacts it was the other thing that in that situation his contacts were unable to save him from embarrassment and downfall

Nandini who had just entered the house after a hectic routine heard loud voice of tv....she made faces at navya's irritating habit as she went inside the lounge to ask her to lower the volume but as soon as she get near the lounge she saw navya looking at the screen blankly and their was some manik's video playing on.....she placed her hand on mouth as she gasped seeing the screen which was showing a miserable state of manik surrounded by an angry mob......the media was showing only one scene on repeat and that was when a guy punched manik making him turn his head on other side.....someone had his fist curled up in collar while their harsh treatment had nandini's eyes filled with tears.....she picked up her phone trying to call him but the line was busy....she worriedly paced around the lounge anxiously waiting for manik to arrive but their wasn't any signs of him.....after half an hour he arrived in a completely bad state his shirt wrinkled...tie loose and hair in messed up state with a bruise on his cheek , forehead and side of lips.....nandini ran towards him but he didnt show any reaction as he kept proceeding towards the stairs and nandini getting scared of his state had to stop him by holding his hand

Manik she said trying to be strong but still she couldn't control the quivering of her voice

Stop showing fake sympathy he growled in anger letting out all his anger and frustration at her with his only one sentence.....

Manik I.... she said as lump of tears got stuck in her throat not allowing her to speak further

No stop it....m the same manik, the filthy creature he shouted jerking her hand away as he strode towards the room....it seemed that he was even angry at himself too......nandini sat on staircase as tears strolled down her cheeks....navya who was watching everything from lounge came and said rubbing her back

Meanwhile manik was standing under shower not caring to remove his clothes and shoes.....a fire was set inside him but from outside he was calm.....he wanted to cry but no tear came out of her eyes...he wanted to shout to destroy everything around him but it seemed that his tongue got tied and his hands had lost their energy and he was numb.....he came back into present when the bedroom door opened...he looked at his clothes which were completely wet and then moved his hand on his face shaking the thoughts away as he stormed out of bathroom and then changed into comfy clothes.......he threw himself on bed ignoring nandini as he didn't want to talk to anyone at that time and he knew he would get rude.....lying on his stomach he closed his eyes and placed pillow over his head to stop the light from coming straight into his eyes....nandini on seeing that turned off the lights and pulled the curtains together knowing that he needed sometime....she sat on bed close to his legs and touched his leg to remove socks and shoes from his feet but unlike other times he didnt stop her from doing that as he was too broken to observe those little details.......After removing his shoes she covered him with a quilt while she started searching the first aid box.....she came back to him after making sure that he was asleep cuz she knew he wouldn't let her touch him when awake and thank God he was lying on back making it easy for her...sitting beside him she observed his bruised face......her heart sank as she rolled his shirt down from collar bone and saw scratch marks over there too...being a doctor it should be normal for her but it wasn't....her hands were shaking when she traced his neck...pushing her tears down she soaked cotton in pyodine to apply it to his wounds....and then after placing a band-aid on his forehead bruise she sat on stool and caging his hand b/w her delicate hands she closed her eyes trying to get some sleep

A baby was lying in a cot baby just 1 minute....mama is coming nandini said to baby girl who was giggling and moving her small hands in air trying to catch nandini's finger....nandini touched her nose as she moved away with a beautiful smile on her face

Baba ki jaan manik's voice appeared and nandini turned her head towards the cot to see father and daughter playing baba ke paas aye ga baba ka bacha manik said kissing her chubby cheeks and the baby girl became so eager to be in her father's arms as she started moving Frantically in the cot....manik laughed as he bent down to pick his baby girl but before he could do that raj came from somewhere

Manishey to dadaa ke sath jarhi hai raj said taking her in his arms...and manik tried to stop them as he spotted a truck moving towards them but before he could voice out the truck hit raj badly and he fell on ground while the baby girl flew in air b4 falling on the road.....a stream of blood appeared from her forehead staining her white frock with her blood

Babaaaaaa manik shouted manisheyyyyyy he screamed again and woke up from his sleep......he was sweating badly

Manik manik kia Hua nandini said palming his face as she saw him in pretty bad condition.....he was dripping in sweat

Manishey he whispered still lost and gazing at one point and tears stung nandini's eyes as she realized that he had wished to name his daughter as manishey but she controlled them and caressed his face it was just a dream she said to make him feel better but he wasn't in a position to listen to her.....climbing off the bed he went towards the window in haste motion and removed curtains and then opened the window letting the air come inside as he took deep breaths to calm himself down

Tmhare beti ke sath jab ye sab hoga tb pta chale ga tmhe a flashback from past hour appeared infront of his eyes and he closed his eyes as his heart flipped under the ribcage

Tm mere bache ko nhi bacha ske from somewhere nandini's crying voice came and set fire inside him.....he felt on his knees giving up and fisted his hairs tightly

Mene kuch nhi kia his broken voice appeared

Nhi kia mene kuch he shouted as he punched the floor angrily

M innocent....m innocent his voice turned shaky and nandini was unable to see his vulnerable side...she kneeled beside him and heard him saying

I tried to be gud....I...I actually did gud I trusted God he palmed his face as tears started streaming down his face

My career...my reputation...my daughter he choked as he said the word daughter I don't wanna be gud anymore...I don't want to be his body shaked as he started crying at the misery...at his helplessnes and nandini instead of consoling him started crying too looking at him....removing his hands from his face she hugged him tight hiding her face in his hair

Manik she said in crying tone.....she was intended to calm him down but instead of that she broke at the very first word

I tried to help her only he said in heavy tone and nandini said rubbing his back

Everything will be fine and her sentence sounded hollow and empty to herself too

Fine...everything will be fine he questioned in bitter tone who will make it fine he said sarcastically as he stopped crying and wiped his tears

Will he make it fine he demanded an answer as he gripped her by her shoulders making her stand.....she looked at his eyes which were showing anger and at the same time demanding answer from him but she had no answer.....she just looked at him blankly

U wanted me to be a gud guy.....u were the one who told me that UR GOD is so gud that he will forget my every bad deed and instead would bless me with happiness

Is this my reward he shook her wanting to get an answer by  taking everything from me....by wasting my efforts of 12 years
By snatching my blood from me....his voice was breaking and nandini knew he needed her shoulder to cry but as she was about to take step towards him manik showed her his palm stopping her at her place

U know what ur dear GOD doesn't love manik malhotra....he knew that I have started loving my nonexistent child(according to him) he took it away from me.....he took it away before I could even get the chance to feel it tears glistened his eyes but he continued

Nandini....u...u cry at ur loss but what about me....what about me nandini he questioned again pointing finger at herself just bcz I didn't know about baby doesn't mean that the loss didnt effect me....u got 10 days with the baby.....u felt it but what about me...I didnt even get the chance to feel it for even 10 seconds tears rolled down his cheeks and nandini rested her hand on his but he continued

Tmne achaw nhi kia nandini he faced nandini who was crying too tmhe btana chaiye tha mjhe......tmhe btana chaiye tha that m going to be a father he choked not being able to control his cries mein kuch moments ke liye wo feeling to experience kar leta he shook his head in disappointment and nandini couldn't do anything but to hug him tight wrapping her arms around his neck

M sorry I never knew things would bcm like this she said in crying tone and manik burried his face in the crook of her neck getting some peace....they parted after sometimes and manik wiped the tears off her face gesturing her to stop crying and she cried more at his lovely gesture as the guilty washed her heart

M sorry manik....I didnt mean to say those harsh words to u she felt so little of herself as the flashbacks of her rude behavior appeared infront of her eyes and manik nodded his head with a smile.......he shifted in the bed and placed head on her lap and closed his eyes intending to get some peace as her presence had always made his heart feel special while nandini started moving her fingers in b/w his hairs which he used to love the most.....after a silence of few minutes manik asked

U must feel ashamed of me he asked tilting his head to look at her while nandini's hand which was moving in his hairs stopped moving but then she continued it like before

U cant feel ashamed of thing u have always been proud of she said as she looked straight into his eyes

I know my statement is contradictory to what I did in past few days but despite all that not for once I thought that u have done that she kissed his forehead but his serious gaze didnt change

I know mjhe nhi khna chaiye tha wo sab she made a cute pout as she held her ears asking for apology and manik smiled finally as he slapped her arm which was holding the ear

No m hurt he asked turning his head back

Kiss the only key to my forgiveness he said playfully as he knew they both really needed a break from the mess and what else was better than spending time with eachother....she glared at him before a smile appeared on his face while manik straightened up himself quickly and came face to face with her

Manik shutup she giggled at his way and punched his bicep knowing that he was teasing her only
