Manik punched the wall angrily after hearing the news about him on a tv channel......pacing around the office room he kept glancing at the screen where news reporter was fearlessly maligning his reputation by repeatedly showing a clip of another victim girl....a victim of manik's brutality......

I stand with prerna and every other girl who was a victim of this beast......I demand public hanging of such people to give justice to victims  the analyst gave his statement and manik froze listening to it.....his eyes turned dark but soon a smile appeared on his lips as he mumbled

Congratulations manik malhotra u r officially a rapist now he said clapping his hands sarcastically as he turned off the LED throwing remote somewhere in room....he threw himself on chair which stretched under his weight and he held his hair frustated...gripping them tightly till it started hurting the roots while his knuckles turned white........he took deep breaths to calm himself down as its really difficult to bear everyone's shit when u have done nothing and manik was facing it.....the people's criticism their harsh words and his closed ones silence was killing him by every passing second...moreover the loss of his child was cherry on the top but he could do nothing...he could do nothing except looking at everything silently....he was helpless his efforts of 12 years was going wasted as companies were ending the contracts with him but he could do nothing.......tears burned his eyes but he pushed them back kicking the table hard but still few crossed the barrier and made their way to his cheeks.....he rested his head on table and fisted his hands to control more tears.....

It's okay manik he said punching his heart cladded with skin repeatedly....wiping his tears he mumbled in heavy tone

Nandini I think ur aiyappa loves to put me in such situations a painful smile appeared on his lips as he engaged himself in different activities thinking that it might give him some peace some break from tiring thoughts

How was ur day navya said as she set dinner table for manik

It was gud he replied with a smile not wanting to make her worried also bcz of him and navya just glanced at his face for a minute but then passed a smile knowing that he wasnt fine but she had no idea what she would say if the matter would rise so she kept quiet

Navya plzzz he said as she started serving him u r already doing so much feeling embarrassed

I thought u consider me as ur sister she pouted getting sad and manik passed her a smile b4 mouthing thnku and getting the green signal she started filling his plate with food items ignoring his pleas to stop it

Nandini khan hai he asked thinking that she might be normal by now as nandini had always stayed strong

She is in her room only manik navya said in depressed tone sad at Nandini's condition

And did she eat anything his voice turned serious and navya only shook her head....he pursed his lips tight as if stopping himself from saying something....stopping in midway he got up and started dishing out some food....picking up the tray he turned on his heels when navya's panicked tone appeared

Manik plzz araam se she said knowing their anger

Hmmm he hummed as he turned his head and looked at her sorry navya tm plzz khana kha lo he was apologetic but navya was still fearing about them

She is being very sensitive manik...plzz deal her with care she sounded worried

Navya m not a monster yaar he chuckled as he started ascending the stairs as she smiled watching the back of her strong brother who was dealing with everything alone and he knew how to handle nandini too

As soon as manik entered the room he saw nandini sitting on bed with her head thrown on her knees and her hair blocking the view...nandini looked up hearing the sound and their eyes met....manik was the first one to break the eye contact as he couldn't get himself to look more at her teary swelled eyes

Come have dinner he stated maintaining his normal tone but nandini dint budge from her place

Have some dinner nandini his voice loud this time as he stared at her seeming pissed off

I don't want it she sniffed and manik irritatedly got up...yanking her up from bed by holding her arm he dragged her with him towards the sofa....depositing her on sofa he said I dont want to listen any more excuses in stern tone he said as he sat beside her

Nandini m waiting he said patiently as he looked at nandini who was playing with her fingers while tears were continuously flowing from her eyes and falling on her hands

What is ur problem he growled irritatedly it wasnt the first goddamn miscarriage..many people go thru this gripping her arms he said making her look at him and more tears flew out of her eyes at his words.....he was acting so insensitive and Nandini's already sensitive heart came into conclusion that all that didnt affect him much....that he was okay with the loss of their child

Why r u forcing me I dont want to eat she said pushing his hands away harshly

Listen nandini.....m already very stressed so dont contribute to it if u cant do anything to relieve it he said in stern tone

I didn't ask u to come here she got instigated and said all that while getting up from sofa

Shutup and just do as I say he shouted yanking her back and nandini just clinged to his chest as a result.....gripping her shoulders her patience died as she broke down into tears hugging him tight........manik wrapped his arms around her carefully and patted her back listening to her cries....kissing her head top he calmed her down and only he knew how tough it was for him to keep himself from breaking too....breaking the hug he geatured her to eat politely.....manik was eyeing her the whole time while nandini stayed ignorant to him

U r going to hospital tomorrow he said scrolling his phone as he knew she would come out of trauma when she would be busy in some stuff but nandini remained mum as she had literally no plan to act on what manik said....after finishing her meal she was about to get up when manik said

Get me a nice coffee in bossy tone which nandini didnt like at all

M not making it now her rebellious self spoke and manik frowned looking at her.....she got up but was pulled back by manik and she fell above him......

What did u say he asked giving her a chance to change his statement

I want to sleep manik she changed it but still her tone was the same

Baby manik said yanking her hair a little which made her look at him I think messing with my type of men is not gud at all.... Haan he taunted making her remember all her harsh words

U will do as I say like a gud wife .....haina baby he asked with a smirk and tears collected at the end of her orbs but she pushed them back not wanting to cry infront of her  ran out of room to make coffee for him...as soon as she went away manik smiled ruffling his hairs carelessly

On the other side nandini started preparing the coffee for him while shedding tears at manik's behaviour

Nandini Kia Hua hai navya panicked as she just came into kitchen and see her crying

He never spoke so rudely to me....he said that my miscarriage is not sth extraordinary she hiccuped palming her face and navya tensed as she spread hands around Nandini's shoulders and pulled her closer to herself

It's alright she said patting her hairs

No it's not....how can he say that....yeah thousands of people go thru it but this time it was my baby....the hope of my life I have planned so much for us and then my baby went away...cant I be sad she cried and navya parted themselves

U r right.....its okay to be sad...its completely alright.....I will talk to him she patted her cheek assuringly and then poured coffee for manik meanwhile nandini brought piece of tiramisu cake from fridge for manik as he asked for it too.....placing the tray on front table angrily she dismissed from there without giving him a chance to speak and hid herself in blanket

Set alarm for 5 in morning as u have to prepare breakfast for me too his serious tone appeared in the room although his lips had a smile....nandini who was about to close her eyes got up with a jerk and eyed him angrily

Mere se hi SB kaam karwana hai to in servants ko fire kar do her annoyed tone appeared and manik had to fuse his lips with mug to stop himself from bursting out in laughter.....the session with nandini was surely helping him to forget the harsh realities for sometime

Shaking his head with a smile adorning his lips he exited the room and went in the living the room.....he was working on laptop enjoying the coffee made by his lovely yet angry wife when he heard navya coughing

Ye Kia Kia hai tmne she asked with a frown

Kia Kia hai Maine clueless of what she was saying

Manik tm naraz ho usse she asked in concerned tone

Tm hurt hue ho uski bato se she added and manik shook his head

No m not....even I say rude things to her in anger he said with a smile and navya relaxed at his answer but then frowned

Then why u made her cry she asked with raised eyebrow

Kia zayda ro rhi thi he asked with a smile and navya punched his leg

Stupid.....u r so idiot u know she is being very sensitive about the present condition and about miscarriage and ur words didnt add something gud She said and manik's smile vanished

I have had no other option..she wasnt listening to me and it wasnt a pleasant experience for me too moving his finger over the edge of her mug he said with his eyes fixed on ground and navya felt bad....unknowingly she had hurted him

Manik m sorry she said catching manik's attention

No no it's okay he said with a small smile

Waise ghusse mein aur maze ki coffee bnati hai with a chuckle he said as he winked at navya and she smiled fully knowing that he was a little better

Removing his shirt he laid beside nandini and hugged her such that their breaths were mingling.....looking at her angelic face he smiled as he kissed her forehead and stroked her cheek the one he slapped and then kissed it

I love u ..its a tough time but with u it will also pass...never leave my side nandini he mumbled despite knowing that she was asleep.....and scooting closer he slept encaging her in his strong arms.....the problems were there but that night didnt feel much heavy and depressing like the past 2 nights

So much bad going on in their life

But one gud thing they r together.....though nandini was being cranky but manik this time put his anger aside and accepted it with an open heart....our boy he is strong 💪💪💪
