After school, Warren and Zack were walking with May to the park. Bri was there today.

The two children met and started playing while Warren and Zack watched, along with Bri's parents.

Bri's parents were nice-looking people. They were a Neko and a werewolf. Warren had seen the father before, the father worked in a technology lab. Zack had seen the mother, she had helped him create the directional speakers he used to use his voice as a weapon. She had gotten the idea from a character in a manga, apparently.

Soon, the four started a conversation.

"So, where do you work when you aren't doing hero work?" Max, the father, who was a Neko, asked.

"We're teachers!" Zack said.

Warren decided to add in to the conversation. "It's rewarding to help make new heroes understand their potential."

Nala, the mother, tilted her head to the side. "Do you live in a dorm room?"

Zack and Warren both nodded.

The conversation continued like this for some time.

After a while, May and Bri walked over.

"Can we have a sleepover at May's house?" Bri asked her parents.

"If her parents are fine with it."

Warren shrugged, and Zack nodded. "Sounds like a good idea," Zack said.

Bri jumped up and down. "Yay!"

May sighed and leaned against Bri to stop her jumping. "You're loud," she said.

Warren and Zack looked at each other, and Zack smiled.

"Brings up memories, doesn't it?"

Warren smiled a small smile.

That's when Warren realized May had made her way into his heart.
