three || adored
"i like it." ella had commented as they had spent three hours in the same room without killing each other.
that was probably the only nice thing she's ever said since they've met.
she had screamed a couple of times, made some bitchy, and not to mention rude, remarks here and there but overall it went lovely.
oh who was paul kidding? the girl was a mess. she only ever paid attention to herself, never listened to anyone. she was a complete and utter brat. paul would have stopped working with her but her management paid very well.
he laid on his sofa as he watched whatever rubbish american telly offered.
he missed home. he missed his dad and brother. he had yet to find mates in this foreign country but he hoped it would be soon. with the thought of him so fresh on his mind he decided to call his brother.
"hello?"
"hey, it's me. paul."
"paul! how are the states treatin ya? find a bird yet? how's that singer of yours like"
"nope. no bird. and ella is just marvelous."
"noting your sarcasm there, me brother. is she really all that bad?"
"very."
and for two hours the mccartney brothers conversed about the singing bitch from hades and life on the other side of the pond.

"how's the boy treating you darling?" ella's mother asked as she watched her daughter strut into the living room.
"he's okay."
ella plopped on the couch and stared at the tv.
he wasn't just okay. he was good. more than good, he was great. but was ella going to admit it? no. they had written a song together today. one she hoped would put her back into the billboard and although she had made some bitchy remarks, she had enjoyed herself. but she knew he didn't.
"where's daddy?" ella asked as she turned on the tv and stared to whatever was on.
"he's out. late at the office, i suppose." her mother replied as she overlooked bills and letters. "he'll be home soon."
ella nodded. he was always late at the office.
she got up and went to her room. what was she doing living with her parents? well, she wasn't.
her apartment was incredibly lonely. being alone killed her as much as the next person. she found peace with other people with her.
looking around her teenage room, she plopped on her bed and quickly made way under the covers that were old and rugged but warm and homely.
looking up she noticed the forgotten glow in the dark stars stuck to her ceiling.
they shined dimly but enough so ella could still point them out. they were store bought but they did their job nicely.
"meet me at the coffee shop tomorrow at 8. urgent."
ella texted and hit send, waiting for little mr. british guy to respond.
it wasn't urgent. well, to a certain extent it sort of was. she needed to plan the theme of her album, what was going on it, singles, everything.
her phone buzzed a minute after.
"at night?"
she rolled her eyes. was this man really that stupid?
"no. in the morning dumbass."
"that's not very nice."
"go to hell"
she rolled over, blankets up to her chin, engulfed in warmth and closed her eyes.
and it all came to her in a dream.
and little did both stardust bodies knew that this was the beginning of something great.
