I sit and laugh with him, my wonderful best friend. I live him very much, more than I should.

He looks at me, a smile on his face and my heart beats faster and faster.
Is it healthily for my heart rate to boost this much when he smiles.
"How are you still single?" He asks and I falter, what did he mean?
And in my mind my thoughts were clouded,"I never break a sweat for the other guys, when it comes to you I get paralyzed."
I didn't say it out loud, instead I spoke these words,"Because the one I want is a friend and I don't want to ruin that."
Then he leaned in for sweet kiss, and I smiled.
