When Maria Santiago walked into her son's hospital room, she didn't know what to feel. Here was her son...the one who tried to help her when she worked long hours as a nurse. Only for her to find out that he tried to kill his girlfriend for money. She could only imagine how much grief that her son caused to his sister and Lori. Especially since she learned what he's said to her before he even tried this terrible scheme.

As she walked in...She noticed the state of her son. He was handcuffed on his hospital bed and seemed distraught about something. When he noticed her...The distraught look that he had went away and he started to smile at her.

"Hello Mom!" Bobby said.

"Hello Roberto. I see that you're doing well." Maria said.

"Yes I am. Besides this is all a big misunderstanding." Bobby said.

"A misunderstanding? Roberto....Everyone in Royal Woods has seen your actions against Lori and her little sister Luan." Maria said.

"Mom...There's an excellent explanation for this." Bobby said before his mother added in her two cents in.

"Listen Mom.." Bobby said before his mother walked closer to his hospital bed with a look of rage.

"No!! I wanted to see if the son that I raised and cared for was still there. Only for me to see that there is no trace of him anywhere. I wish you look with your new life since you won't have your mother, sister and girlfriend anymore. But before I go...I need to do one thing." Maria said before she raised her hand.

Maria slapped Bobby across his right cheek and left the room. She couldn't believe that her son would do this...and she wanted no part in his life anymore. Now she could only worry about her daughter and the other victims that he hurt in his greed. As she walked away...She started a new point in her life without her son.
