Chapter 2
~Y/N POV~
"Hey baby girl." ?
I froze in place. Feet rooted to the floor as the restroom doors slammed shut behind me. There's nothing but my shadows around me, the only beam of light shines above my head and yet around me is darkness. Surely if someone was there, it would pick up movement.
"To you're left." ?
The voice chuckles and I flinched.
My eyes shifted to the left, to where the voice is coming from and slowly turn to that direction. That's when the lights added more sight when a man pushed off the wall he must of been leaning on. I gasped as he moved so smoothly, same mask as the man I saw before him, except his had a neon purple on the eyes and mouth. Black ripped jeans, black boots and shirtless, marked in the exact same tattoos as the last guy I saw, copy and paste even in the location of the tattoos. My first thought was a cult of some sort, or at least a club.
The man giggles, holds his hands up defensively and keeps his distance.
"Relax. I won't hurt you." ?
I breathed some relief to the thought but that didn't mean I let my defence down completely. He's still a stranger.
"I'm just wondering how a cute little thing like you, got in here without being on the list. And I know you baby girl, were not on it." ?
His head tilted on to the side and he dropped his hands down, allowing this to smack down to his thighs.
"List?"
I don't know what he was talking about.
"There's a list to gain entry for the club?"
The stranger laughs, his head thrown back and shakes his head.
"Oh no, not the club. I mean, how did you get here? This very place we're speaking in right now." ?
Still confused I just thought back to when I entered this place, showing my confusion across my face.
"There was no one at the doors when I entered. I just walked in."
His shoulders tensed and his hands balled up in fists. I think if I knew better, he was angry behind his mask. It wasn't only that but he was vibrating this whole dark energy around him. It scared me. I stepped back from him, creating more distance as he silently raged behind his mask.
But then he clapped his hands together and stepped forward.
"Alright then! Now that you're here I might as well give you a tour!!" ?
When he took another step towards me I stepped back again a few times. Honestly he was freaking me out with his hot and cold energy. Just a split second ago he was angry, slightly raging and emitting danger from his very soul. I felt it. Now he's suddenly a beaming sun shine that wants to be friendly and show me around. Who even is this guy?
My steps were enough thankfully to have him stop his approach towards me.
"I won't hurt you. I promise." ?
His voice was soft, playful like and it made me actually want to go with him but I needed to find Yuna.
"I need to find my friend."
Hands to his hips, head tilted to the side. I heard him let out a huff and if I didn't know any better, I think he would be pouting behind his mask.
"What friend? A guy friend?"
There was venom in his tone upon asking if my friend was a man. I scoffed, turning my back to him, readying myself to walk away from this weirdo but also with sense to not fully turn my back to him. I don't trust him.
"None of your business. I'm gonna find my friend and get out of here. This place sucks ass anyway."
Taking my phone from my bra I checked for any text messages and luckily I had a text message from Yuna.
Yuna: Hey girl, I'm so sorry. I met a guy, he took me home. We're gonna fuck. Couldn't find you. See you tomoz, bye babes!
I didn't even bother responding. That bitch left me here alone. It was her idea to come here and now I'm stuck here. She made me so angry I cursed to myself, shoved my phone back in my bra and stomped off back in the direction I came from before finding the restroom. I don't even care that I've turned my back on the stranger I was just speaking with, I just want to leave now.
Yuna is a total bitch, but she's my bitch and she wouldn't be my best friend for no reason.
"Woah! Woah! What's up with you?" ?
A hand grabbed my upper arm, slowing me from my speed. But I totally freaked out that I had another skin on skin reaction. A short high pitched scream came from my throat and I shook off the hand, throwing myself backwards away from the tattooed man, until my back hit the wall behind me. My panicked expression had the man standing before me, holding his hands up in defence, his body tense.
I didn't explain myself, I just stared at him. Completely in wonder to why he is still standing, no sign of pain or declining physical health as if he could drop to the floor any minute. He seemed to be in perfect health, just only seeming to be shocked.
That's two men down here that have been able to touch me without dropping to their knees in agony. It's never happened before.
"I'm sorry okay? I didn't mean to scare you, freak you out or whatever. I was just concerned about you walking through these corridors alone." ?
Still holding his hands up, I continued to stare still shocked for the moment until it passed. I scoffed at him and stood up straight from the wall, pulling up my gloves that have slipped by my elbows.
"I'll be perfectly fine walking through here alone, I did it before I met you. I'm a big girl."
Now dropping his hands, the man chuckled, his body relaxing.
"I know you're a big girl but in here I must really insist that I walk you out of here and find you a ride home." ?
"I can do that myself. Thanks for the offer."
I push myself off the wall to walk by him but a quick move and the guy had my wrist in his grasp. I stared down at he contact, no skin on skin but his touch was firm yet light. I could easily pull my wrist from his but for some reason I didn't.
"Can you let me go please?"
Instantly his grip left my wrist and he stepped in front of me.
"Sorry. I......I just really insist on walking you out of here safely. We usually have security at the doors and a list for a reason. Someone may assume you are someone that you are not." ?
My eyes squinted at him.
"And who would someone assume I am?"
"A person here for sexual pleasure. We have rules here and anyone and everyone that runs through these corridors is fare game. It's the rules and it's what you sign up for as soon as you pay for your name to be on the list." ?
Stunned my mouth dropped open like I was trying to catch flies. I've heard of places like that but never actually been in one or thought this place would potentially be a sex fest. His sudden giggle brings me back to reality.
"Relax, you're with me. I'm just going to escort you out of here and that will be that." ?
He makes a hand gesture towards the end of the corridor, nearing to where I had my interaction with the other guy with a neon white mask on but didn't utter a word. I didn't say a word to him and just began to walk down the corridor, the guy walking by my side but keeping a distance between us. I appreciated that at least and he didn't seem to care that I didn't respond.
We walked in silence but strangely it was a comfortable silence. He's a weirdo for sure but there was something else about him I found comforting in a strange unexplainable way. I knew he wanted to be closer to me by the way he would sometimes step too close towards me to the point we're almost touching, that is until he realised and stepped away, cursing to himself each time. It almost made me smile when he did that.
The stranger stuck to his word, opening one of the solid double doors for me like a gentleman. I thanked him and lead the way through the club, except it were more easier to move through the sea of people compared to the last time. People purposely moved to the side when they saw the man in the mask right beside me. It was like they knew he wasn't someone to mess with in here and yet I didn't know who the heck he was.
All the way to the front of the club, the man opened the door like he did previously and gestured through the exit to the club. There were no one else close by, just an empty space around us which so happened to be the entry and exit of the club. It leads to the dark woodland that surrounds this cave. I stepped outside, a taxi already waiting outside with his motor running. However, the stranger didn't follow, instead he stayed rooted to the floor within the entryway of the club.
"Thanks I guess."
I managed to utter, suddenly feeling embarrassed.
"No problem. I'm a man of my word." ?
He shrugged calmly and seemed to be ready to push the door, only stopping when I blurted out my name.
"Y/n. My name is Y/n."
For moment. A very, very long moment, he just stared at my feet. As still as a statue, not even a breath of movement from him. That was until he lifted his head and he stared me in the eyes, or at least it felt that way.
"Call me Kook."
With that the door shut slowly and I ended to night by getting into the taxi and going back to my dorm as I thought about the man that calls himself Kook.
