As promised after his loss, Jude took Nevaeh out to get food. She thought he was just going to go to a fast-food place and order them some food, but he clearly had other plans.

     "Oh my gosh, Jude this is so fancy," Nevaeh looked around, shocked at the beauty of the restaurant. "You have really good taste."

     "Well, yeah, I'm here with you," he answered with a shrug.

     Nevaeh looked at him with a smile, trying to ignore the fact that the butterflies in her stomach were doing backflips and cartwheels. "You wouldn't rather be here with some random girl you found at a party?"

     "I'd wanna be anywhere you are." He left it at that, not focusing on the conversation much further.

     She tried to ignore what he had just said and asked, "Wait, can we go to my hotel then come back? I don't wanna be the only one here dressed all basic."

     Jude chuckled and nodded his head yes. She thanked him, and he pressed his hand onto her lower back, leading the two of them out of the restaurant.

"Okay, I'm ready now," Nevaeh walked out of the bathroom of her hotel in a completely different outfit. Jude looked up from his phone.

His mouth was agape and all he could muster up was, "Wow."

Nevaeh was wearing a silky, gold dress and some gold earrings to match. She wore a bracelet on each arm, a ring on her middle finger, and a necklace. She left her hair down, and mentally noted to thank Angela for her makeup tips. "So... what do you think?"

"I think you're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen."

She smiled, thanking his compliment. She walked over to him and grabbed his hand. "Let's go."

"Okay, we're here," Jude told her, opening his door and getting out. He came around and opened her door, taking her hand and helping her out of the car. He shut it after her. "You're so beautiful." He couldn't help but keep complimenting her. How could he hold himself back when this goddess was standing in front of him?

Nevaeh smiled and thanked him. "You don't look too bad either, Jude."

"Shall we?" he held his hand out for her to grab.

"We shall."

⋆ ˚｡⋆ ꪆৎ ˚

After being seated, dodging fans, and ordering drinks, the two could finally relax and just talk to each other. He had chosen a spot for them outside so they could see the ocean and view behind them. The only view Jude wanted to see, though, was Nevaeh. He had her sit on the side that wasn't facing the ocean, so if she caught him staring, he could use that as an excuse.

"Tell me something interesting about you," Nevaeh broke the silence, taking a sip of her water. She didn't want her first date with someone she actually liked to be extremely awkward.

     "You mean, like, 21 Questions?" Jude asked, with a slight chuckle.

"Sure."

"Why don't you tell me something first?"

Nevaeh paused, thinking of something interesting about herself. "I'm obviously an actress," she stated mindlessly. "I like travelling and listening to music."

     "That's three somethings," he laughed.

     "You tell me three somethings then," she smiled.

     "I like playing Fifa with Vini sometimes. I listen to a lot of music, and I like going out with friends," Jude shrugged.

     Nevaeh smiled again, surprised with his vague, yet detailed response. They had decided on 21 Questions as he suggested. "Okay, okay. Question one, what's your favorite show?"

"Everything you're in."

     She looked down with a slight giggle, responding, "Have you even watched Outer Banks? Let alone The Sex Lives of College Girls."

     "I watched the first season of Outer Banks a while back. Gia was obviously my favorite," he shrugged, referencing the character she played in the show.

     "You do know she gets with JJ in season two, right?" Nevaeh laughed. "Me and Rudy had a lot of kissing to do."

     "Ugh, my one and only dream."

     "I don't know, maybe if you're good," Nevaeh responded without really thinking what she was saying. She wanted to cover her mouth and pretend like she didn't just say that, but he had already heard.

     He raised a brow and smirked. "Oh yeah?"

     There was no going back now. She returned the smirk, saying, "Yeah." Although she wished she hadn't just said that, she was just going to go along with it. Besides, he'd probably forget about it soon anyway.

     "Question two, if you could live in any country in the world, where would it be?" Jude switched topics, resting his head on his hands and leaning a little closer into Nevaeh.

     "Here, duh. Spain is my second home, I hate when I have to go back to America. What about you?" she answered truthfully, a smile on her face. She loved visiting Spain and going to different places. She'd been coming here every summer since she was a kid, and she vowed to never break that tradition.

     "Probably here, too. Or maybe Japan," Jude replied. After the move, he had grown very fond of the country. Especially with his new teammates being so welcoming, despite their several different language barriers. Of course he missed Dortmund and all of his teammates, especially Gio, but it was nice that everyone on Real Madrid accepted him to the team so hospitably.

     "Good choice," Nevaeh told him.

Until their food arrived, they conversed about their favorite things and what their goals in life were. Right before they received their meals, Nevaeh excused herself to the restroom. Jude thought she was trying to get away from him, but she was doing quite the opposite. As soon as she reached the bathroom, she pulled her phone out of her purse and immediately started texting her friends.

"You okay?" Jude asked as soon as Nevaeh got back to the table. Their food had made it before she did, but Jude's plate was left untouched.

     Nevaeh sighed as she seated herself, smiling and saying, "Yeah, I'm okay." She didn't know what to get or what she wanted, so she just ordered something random and hoped it was good. To her dismay, it was the opposite.

     Jude silently started to eat his own meal while his date just sat there awkwardly. He looked up at her and noticed that she hadn't laid a finger on her food. "Do you wanna get out of here?"

     "If that's fine, yes please."

     He left a bunch of money and a tip for their waiter for the inconvenience before grabbing Nevaeh's hand and leading her out of the restaurant.

Jude led Nevaeh to the beach that was next to the restaurant they were just at. They silently walked with each other, Nevaeh holding her sandals and Jude holding his shoes.

     "I—" they both said at the same time, trying to break the awkward silence. They stopped walking and started laughing at what they had just done.

     "You first," she told him.

     "No, you," he replied.

     "Okay, fine. I just wanted to say I had a fun time with you tonight and I'm sorry that I didn't like the food," she apologized, happy that she had actually told him how she felt and not leaving the date on an awkward note.

     He smiled and said, "I could tell you didn't like it, so I just... got us out of there. But I had a fun time with you, too."

     "I'm glad that's out of the way, 'cause I was starting to think that you hated me."

     "It is physically impossible for me to do such a thing when it comes to you," he told her.

     She smiled in response, and the two continued walking. The cold water brushed their feet, sending shivers down Nevaeh's spine.

     "So, have I been good tonight?" he jokingly asked her. In a way, he genuinely wanted an answer. He did like her, a lot, and hoped that tonight was just one of many.

     "Yes, you have," Nevaeh stopped walking, adding a smile. She got on her tiptoes and gave him a kiss on the cheek, leaving him wanting more.

     They kept walking until they were too tired to continue on, but not without Jude slipping his hand into hers.
