The Godhead and Church Organization (WIP)

I was once reading a religious forum where someone asked if the LDS religion was Abrahamic. One response argued that because the Mormon religion is polytheistic, they are not an Abrahamic religion.

Any member of the LDS church would agree that our religion is not in any way polytheistic. We believe in and worship one God: our Heavenly Father. The person that claimed this (along with many others) have heard that we believe that God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, are three separate being who work together as the Godhead (as stated in the first Article of Faith). Additionally, they have heard that we believe that if we are righteous enough to live with our Heavenly Father again, we can inherit his kingdom and become gods and goddesses ourselves. However, this information does not change the truth: we worship only our Heavenly Father.

Whilst pondering this principle, I thought to the organization of the First Presidency in the Church. We sustain the prophet (President Nelson as of 2018) and his two counselors as prophets, seers, and revelators. However, we only have one prophet. Likewise, the Bishopric consists of the Bishop, and his two counselors. His two counselors are a part of the bishopric, but we have only one bishop.

This lead me to delve deeper into the purpose of the specific roles of the organization of our church. Our Heavenly Father is our Creator, our King, and of course, our Father. Jesus Christ is our Savior, our Redeemer, and has the duty of carrying out the will of his Father through the Atonement (WIP)
