Consider Me Gone
[I was cleaning and I found an old poem/song/thing]
I should've expected you to hide secrets
Preached lies to the parish
Lead me along this road like a child
Leaving me like an abandoned dog on the side of the road
Promising you'll be back to take me home
Now I watch the scissor-tails fly on by
Their songs the only company I have
I was the last one to know you were no good
But that's when I knew I was on my own
On those stormy nights when you're crying for comfort
It's your call if you come to me
You should consider me gone
