~NAMJOON POV~

As soon as we were released the seven of us scattered into the near by woods and just ran for it. At first it was just to get out of there but then reminded ourselves we had a mission and that was to be rid of this Y/n person. As far as I know she needs to be eliminated and quickly as it's under orders that the sooner she goes the better.

However every time I think about her, I may feel hatred towards her but when I've seen a picture of her my mind explodes in pain and my heartrate picks up. I don't understand why but I don't care. A target is a target and that is all she is.

The seven of us separated into different groups. Hoseok, Taehyung and Jin were together and Jungkook and Jimin went in a entirely different direction. We didn't need cars as we're very fast so we just stick to our feet running through the trees, jumping over bushes and even climbing a very cliffs here and there and even we Yoongi and I, who I was partnered with had so swim across the river to get here. It wasn't that hard but I enjoyed it very much. Just to feel free and run through the wild like that but Yoongi and I knew where we were going.

We knew of Y/n's scent since Mr Han, our supervisor gave us a sweater that belonged to her just before he left. Being treated like we were dogs if you ask me but that's what we were told to smell before leaving. With each step Yoongi and I took her scent was growing stronger and stronger. Yoongi knows of this too judging by the look of determination and his smirk on his face as he knows of whats to come. Yoongi loves to kill what ever he gets his hands on when it comes to these types of missions and I do too but Yoongi is looking at this like Y/n is the prey and I cant argue with that because that is what she is to us right now.

Y/n's scent blew straight into my face like a truck, hitting me hard. I don't know why but I found myself stopping when I also could smell something more, mixtures of scents like hybrids? But they are familiar and I frown in confusion trying to pin point where I have smelled this before. I mean I could smell Yoongi but he's standing right here beside me giving me a questionable look to why I have stopped but I could also smell his scent directly up ahead as if he were once there which is impossible because he's been with me the whole time.

"Why did you stop? Let's go, she's right up there." Yoongi

He points in the same direction his scent is also lingering.

"Can you smell that?"

I sniffed the air some more and Yoongi also begins to sniff the air, raising his chin in the air but his eyes widen to look in the direction we are going and then back to me.

"How is your scent up there when you're with me right now?" Yoongi

I shrugged so confused right now.

"I don't know. I can smell you up there too."

He sniff the air again and begins to walk towards the scent and I follow him closely. I was curious to what was going on right now but Y/ns scent also grew stronger as well as the others that were now becoming stronger. It's defiantly hybrids but it's Yoongi's scent I'm smelling.

"What the fuck? I can smell Jimin and Taehyung here too." Yoongi

"Maybe they're here already."

I suggested but Yoongi hisses through his teeth and halts in his steps, tail whipping dangerously slow.

"Maybe that bitch got to them." Yoongi

He was about to charge but then I grabbed him by the shoulder to stop him shaking my head at him.

"I don't think so. I can smell you there too and you said you can smell me. I think we better be cautious and find out how that is possible."

Yoongi seemed conflicted at first, his ears twitching aggressively but forces a nod and begins to walk again. I sighed at the situation and continued walking with him. Only did we stop when we could see through the trees a little white house that seems so familiar some how, I don't know why but it does.

The I could hear a little girl squealing with the splashes of water only to be picked up by my highly trained ears, even Yoongi could hear it as I could tell by the way his ear would flick to the side.

"MAMA!! THEY SPLASH!! IT COLD!!" ??

The voice was loud yet very girly, making it obvious that this is a child. Yoongi and I exchanged a confused look, why is there a child here?

We continued to walk further until we came to a stop just to see the front of the house and my eyes instantly fell on Y/n, sitting on the step of the house. I was drawn to her, almost every part of my body told me to go out there and attack her but there was other parts of me to say no, don't do it or I'll regret it. I didn't want to take the risk but when I see her smile my heart almost exploded and the thumping in my head came rushing back to me.

"Okay boys quit it please. Your sister is cold." Y/n

I fell to my knees upon hearing her voice just for Yoongi to also crouch down but eyes on somewhere else in front of us. I clutched onto the side of my head, following his line of sight just to stare blankly at a little girl, a hybrid girl, who must not be any more older than two years at least. She was quite happily playing her sandpit by herself. Scooping up sand in her little hands to put in a bucket but when the sand would fall through her fingers she would pout all confused. I looked at Yoongi just to see he was slightly smiling just watching the little girl playing. It's the first genuine smile I have seen him have in a long time but I don't remember what happened to us before the recent months but it's good to see him like this.

"Mama, I go play with Eunjoo." ??

My ears picked up the voice of another child, a little boy. There were other voices and giggles of other children but his sudden voice caught my attention. My throbbing pain in my head stopping and my eyes now landed on a little boy, smiling ear to ear as he approached the little girl that Yoongi had been staring at this whole time. The boy stands over the girl watching her play with the sand but I couldn't help but stare upon his face. I don't know who but I could swear he reminds me of me? The little dimples in his cheeks as he smiles, the chubby cheeks and dark eyes and not to mention he had dark brown cat ears and a tail to match all of what I have too.

I was so intrigued I didn't realise I was crawling towards them on the ground but hissed lowly when Yoongi grabs my tail and pulls me back.

"What do you think you're doing?! They're gonna see us!" Yoongi

He whispered yelled at me but I could only open and close my mouth again unsure of what to say. I was speechless.

"What that?"

I heard the boy say quietly and Yoongi only curses, with a groan throwing his head back and letting go of my tail. I turn back to the children just to see the girl shrug but stand up to take the boys hand and begin to walk this way. I panicked and stood back up to my feet as Yoongi also did the same but the closer the children got I found my feet refused to move, they were rooted in place.

The boy and girl come towards us but stop just infront of the bushes still hand in hand with another looking so cute. I may be on a mission to kill Y/n but I cant help but think these children were adorable. It made my heart flutter with joy to see them, especially when I look at the boy.

"Who there?" boy

"We know you there." girl

Yoongi and I just glanced at each other. Did they really know we were standing right here?

I stepped closer towards them out of curiosity but Yoongi grabs my wrist and shakes his head at me when I look back at him.

"Don't." Yoongi

He whispered but I could tell he was just as tempted as I was. I shook off his hand but froze when I heard Y/n's voice close by.

"SOOBIN!! EUNJOO!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Y/n

She ran over, fear all over her face and she quickly picks up the two children in her arms and take them back to the front of house. She was so close, close enough that Yoongi and I could of finished out mission there and then but I couldn't. I couldn't bring myself to even go near her, why? I don't know.

Yoongi and I watched Y/n talk to the children and even a woman that I don't know appears at the front door of the house to talk to Y/n and then leaves again going back inside. Were these children that womans? They couldn't be Y/n's could they? We weren't told anything about Y/n having children, only that she is single and lives alone so why is she here with another woman and all these children that have seemed to have began a pile up of hugs right now on top of Y/n.

I heard Yoongi chuckle as he saw what I saw and even I thought the sight was sweet.

"What's going on other there and who are all the children?"

I was startled for the first time in a long time just by the sound of Hoseok's voice coming up from behind me. I must of been too deep in thought watching the children with Y/n.

"Is that Y/n? What are you guys doing standing around watching her? Let's just get her now!" Taehyung

He already began charging towards the scene but I grabbed his wrist to stop him, shook my head at him ignoring his angry gaze on me and held a finger to my lips.

"Shush, don't say a word and just watch."

"Yeah smell around you too." Yoongi

Taehyung frowns but begins to smell the air around us, turning back to the scene of Y/n now standing up with the children around her, answering her phone. Even Hoseok and Jin started to sniff and all three began just like Yoongi and I began to stare individually at one child each with something of an expression that I haven't seen before.

Hoseok just stared at a little boy that held a flower in his hand that gave to another little girl there that strongly reminds me of someone but I couldn't pin who. Following Jin's line of sight he was staring at a little girl who stood close to Y/n with a pink towel with princess crowns decorated on it, wrapped around her small body. Then Taehyung was blankly staring at this other little boy that was practically bouncing on the spot with wet hair and a blue stripy towel around him also. The three seemed to be so deep in their stares as Yoongi and I were that even I found myself going back to stare at the same boy as before who was curiously watching Y/n, staring up at her but clutching on to her pants leg.

Y/n suddenly picked up the boy I was staring at, the girl that Jin was watching and also another little girl all at one time and rushes inside, shouting on the children to run inside. I could smell her fear from here and I wondered what made he suddenly act that way but to watch all the children also run inside after her and Y/n slams the door afterwards.

Everyone reminds quiet just staring at the house. I'm sure they have questions just like I have, but I don't have the answers and I have no clue to why I couldn't bring myself to hurt Y/n when I seen her so close and yet I felt this pull towards that little boy. I was so confused that I didn't know what to do with myself.

"Are they ours?" Taehyung

His question almost knocked me off my feet after he broke the silence. Yoongi scoffs and begins to walk away but I stay put thinking about his question. How could that be possible?
