~Y/N POV~

Surprisingly the guys let me go out to meet with Lisa without a fuss. I thought I might of gotten at least a little more fuss since Jimin didn't seem too keen on Lisa when he seen her on my laptop last week but I have to think maybe he was just in a bad mood in general.

I'm excited yet nervous to see Lisa, she's my best friend I've known for a long time so it'll be great to see her again, but also nervous because I haven't seen her in person for over three years now. I didn't want her to leave of course but it was to go to university on the other side of the country, it was her dream to go there since she wants to become a doctor so she's been going to the best school for that.

I arrived at the café a little earlier than planned and sat quietly for Lisa to appear, tapping my fingers gently on the table.

As I'm waiting I can't help feel like I'm being watched. I don't know by who because as I look around I can't see anyone looking my way or even a car I might recognise. I could be just paranoid waiting here by myself but it's just a gut feeling I have and usually those feelings are never wrong.

"Y/n!" Lisa

I heard her call out of me, rushing over waving at me. I stood up as she approached the table and we hugged each other for a couple seconds before letting go and taking a seat at our table.

"Hi Lisa."

My voice only came out as quiet but she only beamed a smile at me. She knows I'm the quiet type usually but the boys have brought out a different side of me to which I thank them for all the time.

"Y/n it's so good to see you again in person! I'm so sorry I've been busy with my studies and I recently took on a part time job to help pulse for my studies an-" Lisa

"Lisa we've already talked about this, it's fine. I should say sorry for not keeping contact with you since I got my hybrids, they've been keeping busy."

To which they have. We have our days where we're all bored but eventually we all find something to do whether it be sexual or just hanging out or at least going out somewhere for the day, like a day trip. Those days are really great, all of the time spent with them are actually.

"No, no I quite believe they do. After all it wouldn't be easy having seven hybrids living with you." Lisa

She chuckled and I kind of giggled a little with the realisation of how easy I actually have with them. There's fights and things like that but I just now consider that as normal since they don't have a lot of them anyway, more like silent disagreements I've noticed recently.

"Actually believe it or not they're very easy to live with. They definitely have changed my life around that's for sure."

I grin wide just thinking about them. They have changed me for the better and I feel a little more confidence in myself when speaking to others and not as lonely as I did before. I have an amazing relationship with all of them and I hope it continues in the future.

"I can tell already! You seem more brighter, more happy than I've seen you in a very long time. It's nice to see you like this." Lisa

She pats my hand that's on the table.

"I am happy, very happy right now. Maybe you can meet them before you have to go back home?"

"I don't know y/n. I'd like to but I'll have to go back home in the next two days and my uncle has me visiting practically everyone in the family. When I told him about coming to see you because I really wanted to see you my uncle even suggested we were lovers and I kind of just went along with it." Lisa

She shrugged and I burst out laughing, shaking my head just picturing the whole conversation between the two. I know her uncle very well since he works at my parents work based building that I have to sometimes visit during the week. We don't get to talk much since he's always busy but he's a really great guy.

"I guess you'll be bombarded with a bunch of questions when you get back?"

"Me? It's you I worry about. He'll be asking you questions every time you see him at work form now on I guarantee it." Lisa

She laughed a little with me after she spoke. I miss speaking to her like this. She went away just months after my parents died and we haven't spoken like this since before then. It changed me when they died and I can slowly feel myself getting back to normal, the way I use to be.

"Oh I know, it won't be so bad though, it'll be funny."

"Hey y/n can I ask you something about your hybrids, if you don't mind?" Lisa

"Of course."

I shrugged and sat back in my chair, folding my arms over my chest.

"It's more of a personal question really and I've been wanting to ask you since I saw how Jimin reacted to me last week." Lisa

"Okay?"

I have a strong feeling what she's going to ask me, I can tell by the way she licks her lips when she's nervous.

"Are you intimate with your hybrids? Like sexually?" Lisa

She whispered, leaning over the table to get closer to me. I dropped my hands to my lap and stared back at her shocked. I'm not too shocked as I appeared to be, I'm just not use to being asked such questions. She's my best of friend and I trust her so I don't see why I should lie to her about this.

"I am. I love them very much and they tell me they love me too."

Her eyes lit up and her mouth presses to a thin line.

"I don't want to put things in your head Y/n but theyre not just saying that because you rescued them are they?" Lisa

I could sense the hesitation in her voice, not wanting to upset me in anyway and it did a little bit but I know that's not the case, well I hope it's not.

"Nope I don't think so. They don't fully rely on me either, I give them space to do what they want and they have their own driver's license with a car to share between all of them. So I don't think they would think that way."

"Okay, as long as your happy that's what counts then." Lisa

I nod and stand up from the table.

"Hey I'm gonna go order a drink do you want something?"

"Oh, I could get my own it's okay." Lisa

She tries to wave it off but I wasn't going to accept it.

"No really it's my treat. So what would you like?"

"Okay fine, erm, could I have a cappuccino please?" Lisa

"Sure! I'll be right back!"

I turned away  and walked over to the counter and asked the assistant behind the counter for a cappuccino for Lisa and a cafe latte for myself. Once I paid I skipped back over to the table to see Lisa typing away on her phone with a deep frown causing the wrinkles on her forehead to form deep lines across her skin. 

I know her too well to know that she's not happy about something.

"I'm back!"

I announced sitting back down. She jumped out of fright in her seat and turned off her phone setting it back down on the table.

"The drinks should be here soon."

She nods quietly, tucking a strand of her blond hair behind her ear.

"What's wrong with you?"

She seemed very closed off right now, completely different to how she was moments ago.

"Nothing. I'm fine but my uncle text me saying my grandmother made an surprise appearance at his house and demanded my presence so I'm sorry I'll have to leave in an hour." Lisa

"Ohh that's okay. Maybe we can catch up again when you next come to town then?"

I felt upset that she had to leave so soon but it can't be helped sometimes I suppose.

"But I can stay for a few more days too." Lisa

That definitely cheered me up a little more.

"Great! You can come by my house then at some point before you leave and I can introduce you to everyone."

"I don't think Jimin likes me very much." Lisa

She chuckled nervously. There's something not right with the way she's acting right now but I know she won't tell me if I ask. That's something about Lisa, if you ask she won't tell because she the type of person that will only tell you things when she's ready. Right now I know she's not ready to tell because she can't even look me in the eye.

"He was just having a off day when he first saw you, don't worry about it. So what do you say?"

"Okay fine I'll come over in a few days." Lisa

"Yes, Great!"

She smiled at my reaction just when the waitress came over with our drinks. We both thanked her and we began to talk about what we had been missing from each other's lives for the past three years.

It's different speaking to someone over the phone or Skype but when you repeat what the other already knows in person it's almost like hearing it for the first time. It's more like a refresher of what's been going on.

Towards the end of our conversation somehow I don't know it turned back to speaking about my hybrids. Just about their personalities and things we do for fun and things like that while Lisa just listened.

It was nice to speak to her about them other than my therapist but I can tell throughout the whole time Lisa has something on her mind. I just wonder what it was?
