It's been about 3 hours since Gon and Killua left the mansion. Kurapika already left to go back to work and Leorio left to go to back to school.

The duo was looking for a fair priced hotel to book into since their last one was destroyed by the Uvogin doll. 

After searching and comparing prices they settle on a Hotel called Jade Peak Hotel.

A simple hotel, two twin sized beds, a TV, and a small bathroom. (I was gonna add a microwave but the only time I went to a hotel with a microwave was when it was a suite or a motel)

Killua went inside and just looked out the window. His face dropping with the rain drops falling. He couldn't believe what he was about to do. Sure he thought he betrayed Gon but Gon still cared about him. If he had succeeded in taking his life Gon would've been heart broken, and he probably wouldn't have been able to defeat the Illumi doll and definitely wouldn't have been able to create the nen shield.

The raindrops falling against the window.

He let out a sigh. Man was he stupid. But at the same time as all of that, he kind of regretted not being able to get hit by that train. He didn't deserve to have such a bright friend as Gon. How did he get so lucky to go to the same Hunter Exam Venue as Gon?

The rain clouds seemed to cover the whole city he noticed. Just big, gray, and sad. 

Why did he run away like that? Why did he just run away while Gon formed a plan? Why? Why? WHY?

Silent tears started streaming down his face. Did he really deserve to be here right now? Gon was the light that parted the clouds of his life but their starting to form back. That's when he felt a hand on is shoulder.

Killua turned around and was immediately hugged by Gon tears falling from his face.

Gon was holding on to Killua like if he let go Killua would disappear.  "Were y-you... trying to k-kill... yourself?" Gon asked.

"....Yeah.."

Gon hugged him tighter, "Why..?"

No answer.

"Why Killua? Why?"

"Because I left you in there. I just ran away, only thinking of myself."

"Killua..."

"..."

"Killua, promise me you wont do something like that again. You're my best friend and... and"

Killua hugged him back "Don't worry, I won't." 'I never will. I will stay with you forever, Gon. I swear.'

That's when the sun peaked through and created a rainbow.
