Leap of 4 Days

Kartik and Naira were welcomed in Singhania Sadan. Kartik chuckled remembering something.

Akshara:- So you remember...

Naira:- What happened?

Kartik:- Naira that's my favourite corner in the house. When I was 4-5 years old I used to hide there to avoid milk but Mumma used to find me easily.

Naira:- Were you so stupid? If you will hide at same place obviously Maa will come to know na every time where you hide.

Kartik:- Yeh Maine kabhi Nahi socha..

Naira:- That's Why I say you never use your brain.

Kartik(cutely):- But I was a baby then.

Naira:- Babies also use brain. See Arjun he's so intelligent.

Kartik:- You want to say I'm not intelligent wow.

Naira:- Yes correct you would have been intelligent if you used your brain ever in your life.

Kartik and Naira again started arguing. Everyone just moved their heads.

Devyani:- Nothing can be done of these two. From past 5 days we are seeing them. Every time they fight like Tom and Jerry as if their lives depend on this.

Gayu:- Bhai Bhabhi Bas karo.

Shivani:- Bhai why are you irritating Bhabhi?

Kartik:- Oye you are on my side or Naira's side.

Gayu/Shivani:- Bhabhi ki side.

Kartik:- Wah what sisters I got..

Shivani:- Don't be jealous now Bhai.

Kartik:- I'm not jealous Moti.

Shivani:- Bhai stop calling me Moti. Mumma dekho na...

Kartik:- Kya Mumma dekho na?? Why are involving Mumma in this? Talk to me na..

Shivani:- Bhabhi Tell Bhai to not call me Moti.

Kartik:- What will Naira do?

Kartik looked at Naira.

Naira:- You want everyone to know what I'll do?

Naira smirked at Kartik. Kartik gulped in fear.

Kartik(scared):- Nahi Naira Maine kuch nahi kaha. I'm a very good boy. I'll keep quiet.

Naira:- MENDEK. Stop your tar tar..

Arjun:- MENDEK Chachu...

Kartik:- Your Chachi is also SHERNI.

Arjun:- Haan toh...Chachi toh SHERNI Hi hai.

Suddenly it started raining. Naira looked at Kartik.

Naira:- Kartik. Go out your season has come.

Naira smirked at Kartik. While everyone laughed as they understood what Naira meant.

Naira:- Go and meet your brothers.

Kartik:- Wait I'll tell you.

Kartik started running behind Naira in the hall. They picked up cushions from sofa and started beating each other.

Kartik and Naira were hitting each other playfully. Akshara and Naitik stopped them.

Naitik:- Bas Bas..Stop here only.

Akshara:- Naira he's mad. You are sensible.

Kartik looked at Akshara with his mouth wide open.

Akshara:- What are you looking at me?

Kartik:- Mumma Yeh galat hai...you all are taking Naira's side. What abt me?

Naksh:- Kartik in this house after marriage mother's throw their sons away and make daughter in laws their daughters. We have no value bro.

Naira(in her mind):- Am I betraying family? Yes I'm..I'm hiding my past from them. It's a betrayal only. But what if they separated me and Kartik after knowing my past? What if they asked me to leave Kartik? I can't live without Kartik. He's my support system. But whom should I tell my past? Maa...Kartik always praised Maa. Will she understand my situation? Nahi first I'll talk to Kartik. I have to talk to Kartik abt all this.

Shivani shook Naira. Naira came out of her thoughts.

Shivani:- Bhabhi where are you lost?

Naira:- Kartik I want to talk to you.

Kartik:- What happened?

Naira:- It's important.

Naitik:- Naira is everything okay?

Naira didn't reply. Kartik somewhere understood.

Kartik:- We will be back.

Kartik and Naira went out leaving confused family.
