Claire | Waffle House

I was sitting across from Matt as Mia sat beside me and Matt's friend beside him.

It was a double date. Matt decided that Mia was lonely so he brought his friend to our date. I didnt know until last minute so.

Mia: So Scott, um what're you hobbies?

Scott: I like to play golf.

Mia: That's it?

Scott: I like school sometimes.

Mia looked down and whispered.

Mia: He's so boring how the hell can I spark conversation with this!?

I made the mistake of laughing ao I began choking on my drink which made Mia and Matt laugh.

Scott: Are you okay?

Do I look okay? I'm choking here! I mean yeah I wont fully die but I'll die!

Scott: Are you gonna pat her on the back? She could die!

Matt: Oh right.

He gor up and began patting my back while glaring at Mia.

Mia: What the hell are you glaring at me for?

Matt: You were just gonna let my girlfriend choke? What if she died!

Mia: Oh shut the hell up. She's your girlfriend.

Me: Im fine! Damn. Everybody shut the hell up.

The table went quiet and I looked around the restaurant. The door opened and he stepped in making my blood boil at the sight of him.

Mia: What's wrong with you?

Me: Nothing. I'll be back.

I got up and walked over to him. I stood infront of him.

Me: What are you doing here?

Kalob: It's a resturant. Im pretty sure Im allowed here.

Me: I told you to stay away from us. Me included.

Kalob: Yeah yeah but in my defense I didnt know you'd be here. You hate Waffle House.

Me: Well Im here so leave.

Kalob: Hm. I think not. Im hungry.

A waitress came and took his order.

Me: If Alexandra-

Kalob: I know I know. If she comes Im to leave. Maybe I'll leave now. I'll just go wait in her room.

Me: You cant get in the house.

Kalob: Can't I. I was already invited in.

Me: Somebody else has the deed the to house.

Kalob: Oh wow. You really took precaution hm?

Me: If you even think about touching her I will rip your heart from your fucking chest.

Kalob: I dont have to touch her at all.

My hands clenched into a fist as he looked at me with a smirk.

Me: Dont try it. Stay the fuck away from my sister.

Kalob: Have you ever thought "what if he already did it?". It would be too late for you to do anything.

I grabbed his fork and stabbed it in his neck.

Me: You better not have done anything to my sister.

I went back to my table and grabbed my phone.

Mia: What's wrong? What happened?

I called Alex and she didn't pick up. I called again and it was the same thing. I called Dakota and she picked up.

Dakota: What's up Claire?

Me: Where's Alex? Is she wit-

Dakota: Calm down. She's right here. Her phone died. Im on my way to drop her off now.

I sighed in relief.

Me: Okay. Is she okay?

Dakota: Yeah I mean she's a little quiet but that's normal. What's going on.

Me: I'll explain later.

Dakota: Um okay. See ya later then.

Me: See ya.

I hung up and slipped my phone away.

Mia: What the hell was that about.

Me: I'll you later also.

Matt: Me too right?

Me: No. Not you.

Matt: Im your boyfriend. You have no choice but to tell me.

Me: You maybe my boyfriend but I do have a choice whether to tell you or not. Now stay the hell out of my business.

I grabbed my keys and got up. I looked back at Kalob and saw him licking his blood off the fork while looking at me. Once he saw he caught my attention he smirked.

Let me tell you who Kalob is. Kalob McIrvin is a 73 year old vampire whose trapped in a 20 year old body. He turned Mia into a vampire and since he's older he compelled her to turn me. He wants to create a vampire family mixed with witches, he already has two of his witches he just needs a third and Alexandra seeing as how he already had Mia, me, Ethan and Dakota. All of us were turned by either Kalob himself or he compelled someone to do it. I vowed to never let Alexandra be turned into a vampire and I'm keeping my promise.

After Dakota dropped me off it was like I had a destiny to do something but I dont know what it is.

I went up to the door and saw a bucket by the steps. Something told me to grab it so I did. I took it in the house and went up to my room. I put the bucket by my bed and sat on it. I grabbed my phone and put Mia, Dakota, Claire and Ethan into a group chat.

Me : Come over. Its urgent. When you get here sit in the living room. Take your time getting here though. 😊

I quickly grabbed a pen and a piece of computer paper and wrote Enjoy The Show on it. I ran down the steps and put it on the coffee table. I ran back upstairs and looked at the red liquid that was in a little tube. I grabbed it and opened the tube. I drank the red liquid before I grabbed the bucket. I took it in the bathroom and took off my clothes. I poured the liquid all over my body. I slipped on a bra and my spandex shorts. I ran downstairs and grabbed a chair and knife. I sat in the chair with the knife on my lap until they got here.

The door opened and they all walked in together. They sat on the couch and I clapped twice making the lights come on.

Claire: Alexandra, what the hell are you doing.

Ethan: Where are your clothes?

Me: Read the paper.

Dakota: Enjoy the show.

I picked up the knife and slit my thigh. Claire screamed and ran to me. She grabbed the knife but I put my hand on her arm making her hiss and snatch her arm away.

Claire: She laced in vervain!

I made another slit and Mia came and squatted infront of me.

Mia: Alexandra snap out of it. What're you doing?

Me: My destiny.

Dakota: She's been compelled.

Ethan: What? How do you know?

Dakota stood up and walked towards us while frowning. I stabbed my leg and dragged the knife.

Dakota: You really think Alexandra would do this to herself!?

Ethan: No.

Claire: Look at me!

I looked at her and I sliced my face.

Claire: You will stop cutting yourself.

Me: He told me that one of you would compel me. He told me to stab whichever one of you try to compel me.

I smiled as I stabbed Claire in the stomach.

I grabbed Mia's hand making her screamed as her skin burned. I stabbed myself in the stomach.

Me: I feel no pain at all guys.

I lifted the knife and sliced my own throat. I began choking on my blood and before I knew it, I was dead.
