Chapter-9: Amazing fighter

Double update!!! I hope you guys enjoy it!!!

"I knew you could do it, even when those who took that film from you weeks ago, now you are here with even higher budget film," Sahil beamed, raising his glass for a toast.

"Yeah, Sanskar, everything bad is good for something," Laksh nodded, patting his younger on the back.

"To Sanskar!" Ragini exclaimed, the others repeated her example and everyone took the shot.

"I'm proud of you, baby," Swara leaned into Sanskar, melting against his side and kissing his cheek.

Last week, Sanskar got an offer for a lead role of a high budget film by a wellknown director who win lots of awards for his extraordinary works.

After the film was taken away that on weeks ago, this one came as a big surprise. He was currently celebrating with Swara, his brother,Ragini and Sahil in a bar on Saturday night.

"I would make it nowhere without your support," Sanskar murmured to Swara's temple, wrapping an arm around her.

"Don't flatter me too much, you did this by your own effort because you are talented and so hard working, you deserve all of this and more," Swara protested.

The evening was really nice. Since all of them started working, they weren't seeing each other very often but they were still trying to meet up occasionally. But it was rare for them to be together.

Sanskar was in a really good mood, he had only one small episode since that big break down in their apartment when he broke half of it and he was feeling really well.

"Come on, baby, dance with me," Swara looked at her husband mischievously and pulled him up from the chair. The evening was progressing and they were all tipsy and in a great mood. Sanskar didn't protest, he loved dancing and he loved doing it with Swara.

A minute later, they were dancing pressed together on the dance floor between other sweaty bodies. They paid no mind to anyone, just enjoying the melody and the heat of their bodies, kissing occasionally, completely lost in their own world.

Laksh and Ragini joined them after a while and then Ragini dragged Swara to the bar for shots. Sanskar went to the bathroom.

Swara and Ragini were chatting at the bar, sipping their drinks. They haven't seen each other for quite some time so it was nice to catch up.

Ragini started to search for Laksh , Swara nudged her with a wink, letting her know that it's okay. Just when she turned around to grab her drink and return to the others, a guy stood up in front of her.

"Hello, gorgeous, can I buy you a drink?" the guy spoke up.

"Thanks, I've got one," Swara gestured to her drink and tried to brush past him but the guy put a hand on the bar, preventing Swara from leaving.

"What are you doing here all alone?" the guy asked.

"I am not here alone, I'm here with my friends and husband," Swara replied, putting the emphasis on the last word.

"I don't see him around," the guy grinned.

"He's right here," a voice behind him spoke up and when the guy turned around, Swara saw a very angry Sanskar behind him. This wasn't good.

"Come on, Sanku, let's go," Swara mumbled, putting hand on Sanskar's chest, trying to calm him down. This was not time nor place for an outburst. Though the lights were dim and Sanskar was wearing a mask but still there maybe some fans or haters who could leak his photos which is not good for Sanskar reputation.

"You should mind your own business and hit on someone who is interested," Sanskar growled, glaring at the stranger.

"Back off, dude," the guy spitted out, shoving Sanskar little bit.

"Don't!" Swara looked at him warningly.

"Don't freaking touch me!" Sanskar exclaimed, his jaw and hand clenching.

"What's wrong with you?" the guy laughed mockingly, making his friends around him laugh. Swara felt that Sanskar wasn't the only one whose blood was boiling.

"Watch your mouth, if you don't wanna lose that pretty smile," Sanskar smirked at the guy with a dangerous glint in his eyes.

Swara looked around, finding Ragini who was already watching them. She immediately disappeared, going for Laksh and Sahil.

The stranger and Sanskar were snapping at each other for couple of minutes, until the rest of their group appeared.

"Just go away, dude," Laksh stood protectively by Sanskar side, glaring at the guy.

Ragini told them what was happening and everyone could see that Sanskar was just seconds from punching the man.

"Don't freaking touch what's not yours," Sanskar exclaimed, throwing his beer to the ground angrily.

"You are insane!" the guy laughed.

"He's sick, let him be," Swara glared at him.

"Oh, so he's nuts, huh? That explains everything," the man laughed mockingly again, looking at Swara.

"Not surprised that you are standing at the bar all alone, probably looking for different man when you are married to a weirdo."

"Shut the hell up!" Swara screamed, shaking with anger. She was seeing red, she hated how everyone around was laughing at those guy's words and that he was talking about Sanskar like this.

Laksh and Sahil were holding Sanskar back while Ragini was trying to calm Swara down.

"You don't know shit! I'd really wanna see you if you couldn't control your own brain but judging by the bullshit that's coming out of your mouth, you probably can't," Swara growled, glaring as people around started laughing "Stop laughing!"

"Your husband is nuts and you are probably catching it from him," the guy laughed and Swara just lost it.

Her hand clenched into a fist and
she brought her knee up really hard and kneed him hard in crotch.

It was so hard that next second the guy was on floor and could not breathe started puking too

Swara looked over at Sanskar, worried that he might react but he was taken aback and the surprise seemed to snap him from his state.

Everyone was looking at Swara with wide eyes because no one was expecting that she'd be the one to violent.

"Let's go, babe," Sanskar wrapped his arm around Swara's waist, leading her out of the bar before security could kick them out.

"Holy shit, Swara, you know I am not a fan of violence but that move was something," Sanskar laughed when they appeared on the street.

"I know, right?" Swara chuckled.
They shared an eye contact and then they both started laughing hard like two idiots.

Whenever it looked like they'd stop, they looked at each other and started laughing again until there were tears in their eyes. Maybe the guy was right, maybe they were both insane but they didn't care.

"damn, what a couple we are," Sanskar shook his head amusedly.

"Pair of weirdoes," Swara snickered.

"I hated how he talked about you and how everyone laughed," Swara broke the silence after a while "They don't know shit, they don't know how hard that is for you."

"They were idiots and drunk , they'd pick up the fight in any way," Sanskar smiled sadly at her.

"Still, they shouldn't have talked about you like that, I hate it,"she mumbled.

"Well, I have an amazing fighter by my side, who's always got my back," he smiled at her, bumping their shoulders together.

"Always," Swara nodded with a wide smile, leaning her head down on Sanskar's shoulder.

Sanskar kissed her temple, grabbed her hand, and intertwined their fingers as they started walking to their apartment that wasn't far from the bar.
