Day seven

[ Main Scripture : John 6:35]

But don't be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life that the Son of Man can give you. For God the Father has given me the seal of his approval."
John 6:27 NLT

Jesus is the bread of life. He is all we need. He is enough for you and I. What He offers is the best gift any man could ever receive.The bible says, "But don't be so concerned about perishable things like food. Spend your energy seeking the eternal life."

 We should always ask ourselves, 'How is this thing helping me spiritually?'There are many things in this world that can replace Jesus. That's why He says, "I am the bread of life." Sometimes life can become just about pursuing our dreams which do not even involve God.

Jesus wants to be Lord over our phones. Our fashion. Our identity.The bible says, "Love the Lord with all your heart, your mind and soul." For Jesus to be free to do whatever He wants with our lives, we have to permit Him. Jesus doesn't force anyone. Jesus will never force anyone to have a relationship with Him. You have to discern for yourself in order to see that He is important.

Jesus replied, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.
John 6:35 NLT

Jesus is the bread of life. When we have Jesus in our lives, we don't need anything else. Look at what Paul says:

My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20 NLT

 He says, "It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me." That's one of the most amazing scriptures I have ever read in the bible. How does one go from living in His body to allowing Jesus to live in their body? Its only when we truly allow Jesus to become the bread of our lives. When we allow Him to be at the center of our hearts. There is a reason for allowing Jesus to become the center of our lives. He gave Himself for us.

Yes, I am the bread of life!
John 6:48 NLT

Jesus is the bread of life. Life without Jesus is useless and such a life is lived in vain.Our minds. Our souls. Our bodies all belong to Jesus. Its not enough just to accept Jesus as our savior. We have to make Him our Lord too. Lord simply means 'Master' Jesus has to become master over our lives in every way possible. He is the bread of life.

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Anyone who eats this bread will live forever; and this bread, which I will offer so the world may live, is my flesh."
John 6:51 NLT

Having an active relationship with Jesus gives us eternal life. Let's choose Jesus over everything else. Nothing should threaten the relationship we have with Him..

Prayer:  Father we thank you. We bless your name. We acknowledge your presence. Father we choose to make Jesus our savior and our Lord. We ask that He  dwells in our hearts. That He may manifest His person to us. That we may know Him intimately. That we may learn to love Him. In the name of Jesus Christ. We pray. Amen.
