"Damn your smile is cute."
Loki's smile grew wider.
"Shit, did I think out loud?"
"Yes."
Tony smiled to himself.
"Hey Loki?"
Loki looked at Tony.
"We should take this outside."

They walked out onto the balcony, and stood at the edge leaning against the railing.
They looked at the night sky for a bit, silent.
Loki's worries melted, feeling the cold city air on his face.

And because of Tony.

He felt something he had never felt before around anyone. It was a warm, calming feeling. Loki only felt it around Tony Stark.

"Loki, do you ever watch the stars like this?"
Loki looked at Tony and back at the sky. "Yeah. When I was younger, I did it all the time. Back then, I would sneak to the bifrost to watch them, since I really had nothing to live for exept for Thor and our mother..."
Loki stopped, looking down at the city below sadly.
"I never got to say goodbye."

Tony patted Loki's back .
"Im sorry Loki."
Loki grabbed Tony's arm, pushed it up and weaved his fingers through Tony's hand.
"You're more sympathetic than what I was expecting." Loki moved closer to Tony.
"Same here." Tony replied.

They stood, hiding hands, stairing at the dull stars in the polluted night sky for a few lovely minutes.

Loki laughed to himself. "You know, I never had the privilege of having a moon on Asgard. Our planet is weird."
Tony smiled at Loki. "So, you had no tides?"
"No, otherwise the bifrost would be underwater every afternoon."
Tony laughed. "Is that how low to the water it is?"
"It's the height of an average bridge on Midgard."
Tony wrapped his arm around Loki's shoulder and squeezed.
"It's nice to have another genius around to talk to."
Loki laughed. "It's nice to have someone who understands."

Tony tucked a hair behind Loki's ear and suddenly,
Kissed him.
Loki's eyes widened in surprise, freezing in place as Tony kissed his lips.
Tony brought his hands up to Loki's cheeks, softly holding them.
He pulled away.
Loki's eyes were wide, stairing off into the distance. He looked frozen.
Loki softly muttered, "exchange in chemicals." Still frozen in place.
Tony rested his arms on Loki's shoulders. "Opinion?"
"Shut up and do it again."
Tony smiled.
He kissed Loki again, but softer this time.

Tony pulled popcorn out of the microwave and walked over to join Loki on the couch.
Loki was snuggled in a blanket. Tony sat next to him and opened the bag. He offered some to Loki.
Loki took a kernal and studied it.
"Just eat it."
Loki bit into it, ate the rest, and went for another one.
Tony put an episode of Seinfeld on the TV.

After an hour of snuggling and Seinfeld, they had both fallen asleep.

And in the morning, it happened. A phone call, what Tony woke up to.
