5 - Remember
Loki spent the rest of the day in the park. Tony had to go off and do something, so he left Loki alone. Loki had changed into casual clothing, jeans, t-shirt, a hoodie, as to not attract too much attention. He wore the hoodie to hide his face from anyone who could identify him.
He spent most of his time reading. He didn't want to be in the tower. That reminded him of the person who ruined his life.
Thanos.
In the time he wasn't reading, he thought about Tony. About the beautiful city he was in that he had destroyed. Of course, Loki was completely innocent. But he still blamed himself.
After about five hours at the park, he walked back to the tower. He had nowhere else to go, as he had no money with him and was considered a criminal. It took him what felt like forever to get back from the tower. Hiding his face from crowds of people and trying to not attract any attention.
He continued thinking about the battle of New York, new thoughts flooding back to him.
He remembered something. He remembered the sound of zooming and crashing and screaming and shooting.
He remembered the chitaruri.
The alien army he had on his side to destroy New York and all of it inhabitants.
To destroy the Avengers.
As the thoughts rushed back to him, heard the crashing and screaming around him, and he ran faster.
Trying his hardest to get to the tower as fast as possible.
When he finally saw the base, he Sprinted as fast as he could. He ran into the elevator, the sounds of disaster surrounding him.
He fell Into the elevator against a glass wall and pressed the button for the living area.
The elevator stopped, beeped, and opened it's metal doors.
Loki ran onto the couch, tears flowing through his eyes like rivers.
He dug his face into the nearest pillow, the nightmare of the battle of New York haunting him.
He felt himself screaming.
He couldn't hear anything around him. It was all a blurry hase.
He screamed and cried, trying to fight away the thought of the battle against the Avengers.
And he felt a warm hand on his back.
Tony Stark had come next to him. He looked extremely worried. Loki hugged Tony's waist and bawled into his chest. He couldn't bear it. It was just too much.
Tony hugged Loki back, patting his head and softly shushing to him.
Loki eventually stopped. He just softly sniffled. Tony propped Loki next to him and firmly Heald his shoulder.
"So, what just happened?"
Loki stuttered and shivered, weak from screaming and crying. "The c-chitaruri. I saw them-m. I re-re-remembered something."
Tony looked at Loki as he slowly started crying again.
"Saw them? What, you mean their back?"
"N-no. I remember-red it."
With that, Loki fell asleep in Tony's arms.
