3 - Tower

Loki awoke to the bumping of the ambulance against the road. He had heart monitors, a breathing mask, and an IV drip, a blood drip, all connected to him. Tony was sitting right next to him, holding Loki's arm in his warm hand.
Loki looked at Tony. "Stark, where the hell am I?"
Tony flinched, his face relaxing shortly after. "Thank God. I thought you were dead. Your in an Ambulance."
Loki looked at Tony, confused. "A, what?"
"An Am-bu-lance."
"So, it's a, what? A Midgardian transport vehicle?"
Tony stared at Loki for a second.
"Yeah basically."
loki pushed himself up, but Tony pushed him back on the bed. Tony leaned in closer to Loki's head and whispered threateningly, "if you do anything to hurt anybody, I will not hesitate to kill you immediately." Tony tapped his arc reactor in a threatening gesture.
Loki dropped his head against the pillow in defeat.

The ambulance stopped suddenly. The door opened and Loki felt himself being pulled out of the truck.

Tony watched at Loki was moved into the large building. He suddenly felt angry. At himself. Why did he talk soothingly to Loki the way he did? Why didn't he just leave Loki to die?

and Tony knew the reason, he was just denying him. the reason was that Tony truly did have a heart. Even though it might take a magnet in his chest to know.

Tony sneaked away from the hospital as fast as he could, slipping behind the ambulance and running in the direction of the, now Avengers, tower.
It took him awhile to get to it, but he did. He knew exactly what he was going to do. Work on his suit, cheick on Loki, then ask Loki about New York.
Tony took the elevator to his labratory, cleaned off the table Loki was on, (purely to not look bad) and got to work.

He was working on his prized project, Mark 45. He had been currently working on the Jets in the back.
He had to get it right.

He worked for hours, tweaking and fixing and re-doing.
And he swore he heard something from downstairs. Tony put it off as nothing, he's probably just worked up.
But then he heard it. A loud cough, clear as day, from downstairs.
Tony calmly walked over to the elevator, thinking the cough was just from Bruce or something. But when he got to the floor, he saw...the unexpected.
