"all our work is gone."
Tony hung over the broken robot that was once Ultron. They were in the lab, everyone standing in a different place.
Loki was sitting against the wall, having no idea what was going on.
"Ultron cleared out everything, using the internet as an escape."
Steve repeated the name to himself, "Ultron."
Natasha looked away from Loki. "He's been in everything. Files, surveillance, probably knows more about us than we know about each other."
Rohdey had been there too. "He's been in files, surveillance, the internet. What if he decides to access something a little more exciting?"
"Nuclear codes."
"We need to make some calls. Assuming we still can."
"News? He said he wanted us dead-" Natasha was interrupted by Steve.
"He didn't say dead, he said extinct."
Clint stepped forward. "He also said he killed someone."
"There wasn't anyone else in the building."
Tony walked to the center of the Lab. "Yes there was."

A hologram of a broken Jarvis appeared where he was standing. It had looked devastated.
Bruce Waleed towards it in awe.
"This is insane."
Steve staired at the floor. "Jarvis was the first one of deffence. He would have shut Ultron down. It makes sense."
"No. Ultron killed the simulated Jarvis. This isn't stradigy, this is rage."

Thor angerly walked in and grabbed Tony by the neck.
"Brother! *Hic* Stop!"
Thor looked at his drunk brother, and dropped Tony.

Thor looked at Steve. "The trail went cold about a hundred miles out, north. And it has the septor. Now we have to retrieve it, again."

"I don't understand. Tony, you built this program. Why is it trying to kill us?"
Tony turned. He started giggling to himself.

"You think this is funny?"
Tony turned to Thor.
"No, probably, not. Is this very terrible? Is it so, is it- it is, it's so terrible."
"This could have been avoided if you didn't play with something you don't understand."
"I'm sorry, it is funny. It's a hoot that you don't get why we need this."
"Tony, this might not be the time to-"
"REALLY?! that's it? You just do that every time someone snarles?"
"Only when I've created a murder bot."
"We didn't. We weren't even close. Were we close to an interface?"
Steve interjected. "Well you did something right. And you did it right here. The Avengers were supposed to be different from Sheild."
"Anybody remember when I carried a nuke through a wormhole?"
"No, never heard that."
"I saved New York? RECALL THAT? A hostile alien army came charging through a hole in space. We're starting 300 feet below it."
Tony looked at everyone.
"We're the Avengers. That up there, that's- that's the Endgame. How were you guys planning on beating them?"
Steve looked at Tony. "Together."

Natasha walked past Loki, who had his face covered by his knees.
"You do forget, one of us here was the cause of that scene."
Tony walked over to Loki.
"Right,"
He squatted down next to Loki and patted his back.
"And without him, the Avengers would have never came to be."
