[Author's P.O.V]

"Is she fine now?" Sojun asked.

"Yeah a while ago I fed her and now she is asleep" Baekhyun said sitting in the living room.

"We are sorry granny for not introducing ourselves to you" Sehun said politely.

"It's fine sons. Everything happened so quickly....I'm still in daze" granny replied.

"Well Baekhyun sunbae.....do you perhaps know why suddenly...?" Sojun dragged her line.

"I know but I think it's better if Jihye says you" Baekhyun said and smiled.

"You are so good boy Baekhyun. Thank you so much to save my grandchild" granny smiled.

"Oh that's fine actually" Baekhyun shyly replied.

"Well now when Jihye wakes up pretend nothing happened and be very jolly and happy near her." Sojun said.

"Well would you girls like to join us in our small vacation trip?" Sehun asked.

"We don't know actually" Hansoo said looking at her friends like sister's.

"Well becoz Jihye needs a break from all this and it's gonna be a good opportunity for us to know you girls more" Chanyeol said.

"Yeah I already talked with Suho hyung and you girls are coming okay......Suho hyung doesn't likes no" Baekhyun said and weakly smiled.

But before Sohyun can reply a yes to them they heard a loud scream from upstairs.

"UNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN"

Without wasting time Baekhyun and others rushed towards Jihye's room....

Jihye was panting hardy. She just saw a flashback from her past and that was not something new. The same scenes when Eun's mother died and stuff.

The door burst opened and Baekhyun came running to her and tightly scooped her into his arms.

Tears rolled down and Jihye hugged him back. At least she was relieved that now Eun which Baekhyun, is save.

"You fine Jihye? Is everything okay?" Baekhyun rocked his body side to side.

Jihye pushed him and looked into his eyes.

"You didn't went?" Asked Jihye.

"I can't leave you......how are you feeling now?" Baekhyun smiled.

"I'm fine......ahh....can I- ta-talk with you pri-privately?" Jihye looked at Sojun.

Sojun gave a nod she walked out. Others followed her and Chanyeol closed the door.

Jihye: Why y-you came h-here...a-and....w-wh-why....y-you....sa-saved m-me?

Baekhyun: Dear! you can trust me and I won't tell anyone till you say.

Jihye: Y-You h-heard?

Baekhyun: Well yeah maybe becoz we both called you at the same time and you accepted both the calls and the call went into conference. I heard everything.

Jihye:....

Baekhyun: Jihye (holds her shoulder) why don't you report, you know in California the law is very strict and even in here. You can report about him.

Jihye (crys): No......no....(sobs).....

Baekhyun: (heaves a sign) Jihye? You know ryt I'm here for you.....I'll respect your decision....but from next time I'll be with you and whenever he calls......I'll be staying with you.

Jihye pushed his hand away and buried her face in her hands and started to cry.

Baekhyun felt sad seeing her crying again.
'Poor Jihye.....how much maybe she has went through....ah...this hurts...'

Baekhyun thought. He then removed her hands from her face and looked at her.

"Dear?" Baekhyun asked softly.

She didn't response but tears kept rolling down her cheeks.

Baekhyun cupped her face and wiped her tears and made her look into his eyes. He smiled sweetly and both of them started reach other for a quite a time.

"Let's go out a bit....my treat" Baekhyun said.

"But you...

.....it's fine Jihye....today is a working day so I don't think many people will be out there. Get changed and I'll take you somewhere you can enjoy" Baekhyun said and patted her cheeks.

When Jihye didn't say anything Baekhyun started to do ageo and begged her to go with her. She giggled and he smiled in victory that he made her smile.

"O-Okay" Jihye smiled.

Baekhyun helped her to stand up and when she balanced herself Baekhyun smiled at her and walked out.

But before he walked out he saw a shadow disappearing. He wanted to follow but stopped when he heard a small yelp from Jihye inside her room.

"Jihye? Are you okay?" He knocked on the door.

"I'm....it just (opens the door) I can't find my cell phone and there's a spider inside the washroom" Jihye hold Baekhyun's hand.

Baekhyun chuckles and ruffled her hair. "Stay here till I call you." He smiled and went inside.

"Hey you okay ryt?"

Jihye turned and saw granny's personal maid.

"Oh yeah I'm fine now. Thank you" Jihye bowed.

"Oh....hey here is your phone. The screen broke so we repaired it." The old maid handed.

Jihye bowed and took her cell phone. It was fine only....how it broke? Jihye wondered.

"BOO!!"

"UAHHH!! YAHH!!" Jihye shouted and hit Baekhyun's arm.

But abruptly stop. Jihye gasped drastically and covered her mouth.

"Murderer!!!! You killed that spider?" Jihye asked.

Baekhyun laughed and nodded.

"I shouldn't touch you nor the spirit of that spider would haunt me too" Jihye said dramatically.

Baekhyun lifted her in bridal style and walked inside her room. He landed her on her bed and said.

"Then I would protect you *winks* and now get ready. After two hours I've schedule.......so be fast pumpkin" he patted her head and walked out of the room.

"I wish I could keep you like this happy always" Baekhyun muttered before going downstairs.

[Unknown P.O.V]

"Umm hello?"

"Yes?"

"You were the one ryt who called Jihye an hour ago?"

"Who are you?"

"It doesn't matter. What you want to do to Jihye?"

"I want to destroy her.....for what she did.....destroying her whole life so that she could live with an unwanted burden"

"Same here dude!! I'll help you in destroying Jihye.....but I want to get share of your money"

"Well why you want to destroy my slut?"

"Nothing much!! Jealousy I guess"

"Hmm....Ryan Bloom"

"Just call me Kim"

"Where should we meet up?"

"Come to South Korea, your slut is in our house. I'll ready everything for you.....just come"

"Alright then.......haha......"

The call was cut. That person smiled.

"Your life will end soon Jihye" Kim said.
