Your POV

I ran as fast as I could and finally arrived home. I stopped at the front door to catch my breath before entering. Taking a deep breath to hide my nervousness, I placed the bag of supplies on the table.

"(Y/N)!!!" I heard mother yell. My blood felt cold as I gulped.

"Y-yes, Mother...?"

I could here the anger in her voice. "GET OVER HERE THIS INSTANT!!!"

I took another breath before going downstairs. "Y-you c-called...?"

Her glare could cut through cement at the moment. It sent shivers down my spine, and I tried to hide my whole body's shaking with all my being. "Why are you so late? You should've been back in an hour."

"I'm sorry, mother, but I bumped into something along the way...!" I said, trying to hide most of the truth.

She crossed her arms, the glare only intensifying, as if to forced the truth out of me. However, I stood my ground, not looking away. Two can play this game.

She raised her hand and a black aura formed around it and myself. She used her magic to force me to walk over. I tried to resist a bit, but at the same time, she was already mad enough...

She grabbed my face and tilted it upward to face her. I flinched a bit, her sharp nails digging against my cheeks and chin.

She pulled away, even more angry than before. She scoffed. "You were with Bill."

"W-we bumped into each other-!"

"Don't lie to me, (y/n), I want the whole truth." I couldn't win, could I...?

I took a deep breath. "I was on my way to get the stuff you needed, but decided to... practice some magic along the way... Uncle Bill found me and I asked for some help..." And since he actually cares about me, he did. "Then I went to buy the things but ran into this huge beast thing and two other kids helped me...."

As I finished my explanation, I could see mother was super angry, angrier than I have ever seen her... It terrified me... "You idiotic child, I never had these problems with your sister...!!!"

Even though that wasn't knew information, I still shrunk a bit in my spot. "I can't handle you anymore, you never listen!!!" It's not my fault I want to prove myself, be a true witch!!!

"I'm sorry, mother..."

"Sorry doesn't cut it, not this time." What did she mean by that...? I looked up, her glare was still there. "I want you out of this house." Wait HUH?!?

"What?!? But mother-?!?"

"Not another word, out!!!"

"But how will I survive without a home?!? Without water?!? Without food?!?" I felt tears streaming down my face.

She didn't care, she never cared. "I'm sure 'Uncle Bill' will have no problem helping you." She turned to leave. "Why are you still here?!?" She snapped her fingers, and the next thing I knew, I was alone in the woods.

That did not just happened...

Please...

Tell me that didn't really happen...!!!

She never cared about me...

I always hoped she had even a little bit of sympathy...

Nothing...

I curled up in a ball, crying and sobbing, tears desperately streaming down my face. I had nothing...

What was I gonna do now...?
