Resonance was having a dream. A very very nice dream, she may add. One full of bouncing ferrets being chased by veloceraptors and happy house elves eating cake -

" HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY SIS !! "

Yelled two identical voices

Resonance woke up with a start to see her crazy older twin brothers Zacharias and Bernard 

Resonance groaned and tried to bury herself back under the covers

" Baby sis you gotta wake up, it's your birthday ~ " Zacharias cooed picking her up to cuddle her

" So? " Resonance mumbled sleepily, burying her head in his neck

" Your Hogwarts letter is coming today ... " Bernard smirked poking her side

' Birthday ... Letter ... Hogwarts ... Wait a minute ... ' Resonance thought then suddenly sat up and squealed

" Its my birthday !! "

Resonance jumped onto the floor and ran into her closet, grabbed a dress before shooing the twins out of her room so she could change.

After getting dressed and brushing her hair, Resonance skipped downstairs to the kitchen where her parents and brothers were seated while the elves were cooking

" There's our little princess " Resonance's father smiled and scooped her up in a hug " Happy birthday sweetheart " Mom smiled and kissed her cheek

" You're finally 11 squirt, how does it feel ? " Gideon asked smirking at her from his spot at the table

" It'll be great once I get my letter " Resonance said

As if on cue, an owl flew in and dropped two letters on the table, one being for Auggie and the other was ...

" Is that what I think it is ? " Resonance picked up the letter and opened it

Resonance squealed and hugged her parents and siblings before running around the kitchen

" I got my letter !! I got my letter !! Oh I can't wait to write to Aurore, Geniveve, Cyril and Pavel !! "

A week after Resonance turned 7, her parents had been invited to a friend of her mother's birthday party. Since Auggie was then 11 and attending Hogwarts, her parents had taken Resonance along to see if Resonance would make friends with the other children that would be in attendance.

~ FLASHBACK ~

" Mother, who are we visiting ? " 7 year old Resonance asked while holding her mother and father's hands  as they walked to their fireplace

" We're going to floo to my good friend Harriet's home, it's her birthday today " Mother explained " I trust you'll be on your best behaviour ? " her father added

" Of course mother, father " Resonance said with a smile. Father then got out the floo powder and we all yelled " Monetre Manor !! "

Soon they arrived in the fireplace of an elegant sitting room where a woman with pale blonde hair and kind brown eyes that reminded Resonance of chocolate welcomed them in " Harriet it's so good to see you !! Happy birthday " her mother hugged the woman

" I'm guessing this must be Resonance ? " Harriett asked looking down at Resonance " Such a beautiful child. And she's the same age as Aurore "

' Aurore ? Hmm ... '

" Aurore !! Can you come here please ? " Harriett called. Soon a 7 year old girl with wavy strawberry blonde hair ran into the room " Yes mama ? " she asked

" Aurore darling this is Mr and Mrs Springfield and their daughter Resonance, why don't you bring Resonance up to the playroom where the other children are ? " Harriett asked her daughter

" Okay Mama !! C'mon " Aurore smiled and happily took Resonance's hand and eagerly dragged Resonance to the playroom.

Resonance had a plan as she followed the strawberry blonde haired girl to her playroom. 

' I know where I am ... I know who I'm going to meet once I go to Hogwarts ... I'm gonna set up precautions ... A lot of them ... '

Step 1 : Make friends

Step 2 : Make friends with girls and boys who are going to be attending different wizarding schools - most specifically Beauxbatons and Drumstrang

Step 3 : If Draco even tries to ask me to the Yule ball in year 4 I'll use an engaged - to someone - excuse. It should work ... hopefully ...

... What ? She had to do something productive while being stuck in the body of a baby for the first 5 months ...

Resonance's dad smiled " Actually princess, your friends will be coming this afternoon for your party "

Resonance squealed

When it came time for her birthday party, Resonance was showered with presents from her family members and four friends
