My House

We dropped Ani and Kenny off at their maternal Grandparents house at 4:30 pm. After lunch we went and picked up Beans.Then we took Colby to our favorite ice cream shop and then while we ate our cones we told Colby about the nice park just down the street which we went to after we had finished our ice cream.
Colby and I held hands while the girls walked Beans just ahead of us.
But now it was just the two of us and Beans at the house.
I popped the popcorn and pulled out the concession candy from our cabinet. Colby grabbed a few flavored waters from the fridge for us and we made our way into the living room.
We settled onto the couch and Beans sat next to me on the left and Colby was on my right.
"You don't mind watching Dirty Dancing do you?" I ask.
"Not at all," said Colby.
I smile "Good because it is my all-time favorite movie ever!!!"

Bex's Place

She smiled widely at me making her brown eyes sparkle at me. Bex snuggles into me as she put her head on my shoulder.

"Oooh it's starting," said Bex .
I smile and laugh slightly "How many times have you seen Dirty Dancing?"
Bex looks up at me and smiles " Let's just sat I could act out the whole movie by myself by the time I was ten. "
I smile "Translated a whole lot."
" Well since I first saw it when I was six and I am thirty two now I have seen it, "said Bex as her face contorted in thought "I would say about ten thousand times."
" Ten thousand?! "
"I had a sad childhood," shrugged Bex "No one really wanted to be my friend."
She laid her head back on my shoulder turning her attention back to the movie .
"I am sorry about that," I said .
"Don't be," said Bex she looks at me "I had my family and friends that I could count on my one hand. I prefer that way quality verses quantity I say."
I smile "I think that way too," I said "I can count on one hand  the  people I can count on. After of course my family."
" Hmmm, "said Bex as she adjusted herself.
" Bex? "I ask.
" Yes? "
"Can I ask you something?"
" You just did, "she laughed.
" I'm serious, "I said.
" Okay okay, "she said pausing the movie.
" Would you like to come to Los Angeles with me in August? "
"Serious?" asked Bex looking at me with a shocked eyes.
"Yeah," I said "I want to show you LA and show you around my stomping grounds."
" Okay, "smiled Bex and she placed her soft lips against mine.

My House

" Woah, "I said putting the breaks on the make out session.
Colby smiles "Okay," he said placing an arm around me " Let's get back to the movie. "
I sigh happily. Imagine I found a guy who doesn't say Come on baby let's fuck  two minutes after we met.I lay my head back on Colby's shoulder and start the movie again.
I  watch as Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze first met. You know the scene. Baby tells Johnny 'I carried a watermelon.' I laugh every time with that line.
Colby chuckled too.
I looked up at him "Have you ever even seen this movie?" I ask.
Colby shook his head "No."
My mouth dropped open "What?!"
"Never seen this movie," he said.
"What about Grease?"
" Nope. "
"Steel Magnolias?"
" Nope. "
"Hairspray?"
" Nope. "
"Goonies?!"
" That one I have seen. "
"Boy we have to get you caught up on some movies," I said with a shake of my head.
"I guess you'll have to show me," said Colby connecting our lips.
"I think I can do that," I said with a smile.
We finished watching Dirty Dancing we weren't the least bit tired so we watched Grease.
By the end Colby was dancing along to the music.
