Y/N PoV
I left the Sister of Quiet Mercy as fast as I could. There is no way I wanna go there again. I go home with Jughead. We watch a movie and wait for the Variety Show. He decides to go check on Betty and he leaves.

This is boring! Sitting here in my house alone. Nothing to do.

I decide to make some cookies for Archie to congratulate him on the concert or to boost his spirits after he chokes.

I mix the ingredients up and place each one on a cookie sheet. They bake in the oven as I change into nicer clothes for the show.

I hear the door slam open and heavy footsteps down the hall. Either it's Jug or an intruder. I pick up my curling iron prepared to throw it if it's the intruder.

My bathroom door opens to reveal a steaming mad Jughead.

I exhale and put my iron down, "Hey...what's going on? You don't exactly look happy."

Jughead stands behind me and hugs me against his body. He kisses the top of my head. He calms down, "I don't want to lie or keep any secrets from you in our relationship. You will hate this. Please don't get mad..."

"What will I get mad at?" I look at him through the mirror.

"When I was at Betty's house she kissed me." He shuts his eyes to forget all that has happened.

I turn around to face him. "What!" I push his arms off of me. "You guys kissed?"

"I am sorry, I didn't want her to kiss me at all."

"No Jug, just go back to your blonde backstabber." I walk out of the bathroom.

He follows me out "I don't want to be with her. I want to be with you! Everything I said back at the church is true. Y/N, your the one person in this world that makes me happy! There is no one else I would rather be with. Please believe me."

"If you really want to date me then you wouldn't have kissed anyone else. Leave! I don't wanna see you anymore." I lay down on my bed to process the situation.

Jughead leaves my room.

Tears start to form in my eyes. They roll down my cheeks leaving water stains. I cry into my pillow. This shouldn't be happening. I snuggle into my blankets and pillows trying to forget everything that is happening outside my bed.

The cookies in the oven start to give off a delicious smelling aroma telling me they are done. I get out of my bed to get them out. The last thing I need is burnt cookies.

I walk out to the kitchen to see Jughead sitting at my table. "What do you want? I told you to leave." I say calmly as I get the cookies out. They smell amazing.

Jughead sighs, "Y/N listen to me for 30 seconds, okay?" He takes a small pause, "I can't lose you. You are my world. You are the reason why I didn't leave. There is absolutely no way I can survive in a world without you. Y/N you make me feel a way I can't explain. You make me feel like no one else. Betty means nothing to me. I don't want our relationship to end. This is why I'm here, to be with you even if it's just as friends. I am sorry...so sorry."

I think for a second, "Did you kiss her back? That's all I want to know."

"No, not at all. The only person I want to kiss or even be around is you. It has always been you."

"It might take me a bit to trust you fully again but apology accepted. I am furious, not at you anymore, but with Betty."

He gets up and saunters over to to. Jughead wraps his arms around me and kisses my forehead, "You have every right to be mad."

I sigh in his chest. This is where I belong, "I probably won't be talking to Betty anytime soon. Can we just put this behind us?"

"That's fine by me." He let's go of me and reaches for one of the cookies.

I slap his hand, "Hey hey hey! Those are for Archie! Not you." I laugh.

"Please? Just one?"

I sigh, "Fine but just one!" I give him one of the warm chocolate chip cookies.

The rest go into a container I put on the counter. "I'm gonna go fix my makeup now."

I go back to the bathroom and repair any problems with my makeup caused by crying. I then curl my hair. At least I got one use out of my curling iron tonight.

**Time Skip to the show**
A/N-Y/N is at the Variety Show while Betty and Jug are investigating the car...Y/N didn't want to be around Betty but Betty claimed it was an emergency so Jug went with her.

"Hello Riverdale High and welcome to the 75th annual Variety Show!" Kevin is hosting the show this year and I couldn't be prouder.

The audience cheers and claps. Kevin gives them a toothy smile, "Now our first act isn't shy to giving spectacular performances! They are here tonight to rock the house. I give you Josie and the Pussycats!" Kevin walks off stage as the audience claps.

The Pussycats sing and dance. Their show was great and the audience agrees. When Josie finishes I stand up and clap for my friend. Veronica has a big smile on her face.

Kevin walks back out, "That was Josie and the Pussycats! Long tails and ears for hats!" He does a small dance making me giggle, "They always deliver nothing more than perfection! Great job ladies!" Kevin smiles at Archie off stage, "Our next performer is here to make his day view as a singer-songwriter. Here is Archie Andrews!"

I clap loudly for my sort of brother and cheer with the crowd. Fred looks astatic and is beaming with all kinds of pride. I feel the same way.

Archie looks calm until one of the Bulldogs yells, "Stick to football!"

He scrunches his eyes and looks around at us. I give him a thumbs up and nod. Archie looks over at Veronica for some resonance.

She gives it to him through a nod and a smile.

Archie takes a deep breathe and starts strumming. He sings his song "I'll Try" that I've heard many times before. This is the best time I've heard him sing it though.

He finishes his sound with a strum and a smirk. Archie stands up and bows. He can't wipe the disbelieving smile off his face.

I stand up and and cheer, "Go Archie!!"

He exits the stage and Kevin runs back out. Kevin compliments Archie and introduces the next act.

The show ends an hour later. I get out of my seat and grab the box of cookies. I leave the gym to find Archie and I do. He is not alone though. Him and Val are kissing! This makes me laugh and shake my head.

They break apart and Val runs away from him with a small smirk.

I go over to Archie, "Hey! Amazing job Arch. Your performance was great and I see Val thought the same."

He laughs, "Thank you."

"Here!" I hand him the cookies, "I made you some celebratory cookies."

Archie grabs them, "You didn't have to."

"Yes I did. I knew you could do it Archie. I feel like the proud older sister!" I laugh and give him a hug.

He hugs me back, "So I was thinking earlier. You are like my sister so why not make it official?"

I'm in shock at the words. Maybe this time I could have a caring family. "What does Fred say?"

"He's on board a thousand percent. You could even move in with us?"

"Yes Archibald! It's sort of lonely in my apartment when Jug isn't around anyways." I smile, "Wow. I can finally call you my little brother!"

He laughs, "Little brother by only a couple months and I'm mature enough to be your older brother."

I shrug, "Mmm I don't think so. You are the younger brother. When can we sigh the papers?"

"My dad and I discussed this a while ago so he already talked to a lawyer and stuff. Are you completely sure you want this? I don't want to push you in to anything."

"Archie, I've wanted some sort of a good father and brother for a long time. I can finally get one!" I squeal.

"Good, so I'll see you tomorrow future sister?"

"Yes you will future brother." I give him a hug.

Archie leaves me standing in the school with happiness and hopefulness coming off of me in bright sun beams.
